Mold in bathroom. You could see and smell it! Why couldn't the housekeeping staff? Bathroom door did not fit the door jamb and was impossible to completely close. Bathrooms for the guest rooms in general need to be completely gutted and upgraded. The control for the tub/shower was extremely hard to operate. Housekeeping did not replace wet bath mat or... more

We stayed here while visiting the area and going to Mount Airy casino. The room was clean, decent size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Sadly, this well located property has gotten rather shabby and run down. On a visit 4 years ago, we found the place clean and well run. A recent stay found; torn screen in the sliding doors to balcony, tracks in the doors hadn't been dusted in years, furniture in the room was chipped and scratched, overpriced and underheated breakfast buffet.... more

cons: Pool was cold, hot tub was more like a luke warm bath, black mold in bathroom, no playgrounds. Overpriced restaurant w/ weak wait staff. No management onsite overnight.
