We stayed for one night in Eagle Village. Building was nestled in woods. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Had a fireplace (bring your own wood). Kitchen is large. Kids loved the upstairs loft. Yes it's peaceful, yes it's off the beaten path. However the units are fithy and in desperate need of refurbishing. Why do I say that? The carpeting is disgusting, the wall paper is peeling off the walIs, the mattresses feel as though they've been in use since the 80's. The unit we stayed in wasn't clean. Was a bit skeptical after reading reviews, but went for a timeshare, as Lake Wallenpupack is a bit out of the way for us. Was pleasantly surprised. Close to Rt 80, but definitely no cell service with Sprint. Would not recommend for children. They do have a pool indoor, just opened in June. If they ever clean out the area... more
