Eagle village is dated and they acknowledge that on their website. I have stayed twice in unit 1024 which is one of the RCI units - often available on "last call." One of the earlier reviewers complained about the unit's condition. It is very basic but so is the "last call" price - which quite frankly is unbeatable at about... More

There were very few people there but the facility was clean. The appliances/ buildings were on the old side and a bit run down. The staff was warm and friendly. Internet connection was almost non existent and cell service is very spotty but the allow free phone calls in the us from the land lines in the rooms. In the... More

Unfortunately, we were assigned unit 1042, which has not been renovated in decades, it appears, except possibly for the linoleum floors. Prior to arrival I called to see if we might possibly get a renovated unit and was told that when a unit is secured at this site, assignment cannot be changed from that originally purchased. We were to stay... More

Eagle Village posts a fair assessment about the quality of its accommodations on its website: "As time moves on, however, it also takes its toll. Built in the 1980's, our accommodations are dated and show normal wear and tear for their age." It definitely ain't no spring chicken. Thankfully, Tripadvisor reviewers weren't wrong when they said the place was clean,... More

We've been coming here for a week for over 30 yrs. It's changed a lot but we still enjoy it. It's not an all-inclusive but they don't claim to be. The website is accurate, a nice quiet, peaceful place with abundant wildlife and scenic surroundings. It's a great place to spend quality time with family or friends and there are... More

This area is abundant with deer; saw them every day, multiple times. We went in the off season, so it was very quiet and relaxing. 90-acre lake to row (row boat rental very reasonable). Rec Center with video games, billards, indoor pool w/ outdoor seating area. Nice playground, tennis courts, basketball area, as well as 2 BBQ grills for use... More

Eagle Village Resort has a self-contained cottages with two bedrooms, two baths, a living room, dining area, and kitchen. I brought kitchen tools such as scissors, scrapers, a pizza cutter, and tongs, which stood me in good stead. I brought a number of DVDs for the rainy days. Everything else is generally provided for a restful vacation.

The resort is very quiet and relaxing. Lots of deer on the property and they were very tame. If you want to get away from town, this resort is for you The tree house villas are very tired, they badly need some maintenance. The office staff told us that they are working on renovations to the units, I hope that... More

First thing you notice is the "quiet". Situated about 3 miles from Bushkill Falls, Eagle Village Resort is a breath of fresh air from the high pressure sales teams of other similar resorts in the area. In fact, they do no have a sales department. We stayed in a "tree house", as they are called. Two bedrooms with a loft,... More
