My husband, 4-year-old son, and I spent the night at Verdant View Farm and found it to be perfectly delightful! The farm is beautiful. My son learned a lot about cows and thoroughly enjoyed playing with the other farm animals. The hosts were welcoming and enjoyable to talk with. Specifically, Patrick made quite a positive impression on my son. The... More

Three of us, me, a Grandmother, a Son and a Granddaughter, fit in room #2 next to the bathroom that other visitors use. We fit into bunk beds and a double bed. We love eating in the dining room for breakfast. I did not enjoy as much when we ate outside in mobile wagon for the arrangement of looking out... More

We had a very pleasant stay on the Verdant View Farm. Although it's a working farm, it's quiet, calm & relaxing. The room was clean, the bathroom large & well equipped, the beds are confortable. We loved the breakfast, the talks & the song.

We spend one night here with friends (4 adults and 6 kids). We especially enjoyed the kindness and the receptiveness of our hosts. Beside that, the farm is great, and the kids loved fooling aroung with Scooby the amazing dog, feeding the veals, milking the cows, and patting the cows, chicken, chicks, pigs, etc. Oh, and best breakfast ever !

We loved the welcome wagon of Scooby the dog & orange tabby cat. Feeding milk to the baby calf's was a one of a kind experience. Seeing the vast activities around the farm helps you understand how much work goes into farming. Teaching kids where food comes from is one thing...showing them is invaluable when experienced first hand. We stayed... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Verdant View Farm Bed and Breakfast. I did a lot of research trying to find the right place to stay, but once I arrived and met Tammy, I knew I made the right choice. She was very friendly and made us feel right at home. The farm was great with lots of... More

We spent 2 nights here with our little ones. They got to experience life on the farm: fed the calves, played with the bunnies, gather eggs, run with the kittens, ride the wagon, etc. We had a great time and enjoyed having the free run of the place. Staff is very friendly. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are ok.

Great fun for the adults and our young kids. We enjoyed having free run of the place - as long as you're respectful to the animals, you can wander around the grounds and the barn. The kids especially loved playing with Scooby the dog; there were even baby goats to romp with. We also did the farm tour, which let... More

We stayed in a group of 4 families with 7 children ranging from 3 to 8 years old, arriving Friday eve and leaving late morning Sunday. ALL of the kids had a fantastic time. Some declared it the best holiday ever. Highlights included: playing in the tunnels in the hay stacked in the barn, rolling in giant tubes in the... More
