Stay somewhere else...... These are old cabooses and train cars on disued tracks in the middle of farmland. Deal with it. I was terribly terribly disapointed. Went to be close to Thomas the Train down the road. There was an overwhelming smell of septic from the minute we arrived. Red Caboose Motel has a friendly, personable "new" owner since our initial visit in 2004. Our sons, ages 9 and 4, had a great time on the carousel, browsing in the store and feeding the farm animals. We did not read any reviews before staying at the Red Caboose. We saw it from the train last year at a Day Out with Thomas. The kids begged us to plan a trip to stay in a caboose.
