My husband and I, along with our 1.5 yr. old yellow lab spent the weekend at Whispering Pines Campground. It was one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. We stayed at one of the tent sites, which were really big. The bathrooms were very clean, although I've never been charged to take a shower at a campground... More

Nestled in the hills of NE Pennsylvania this place was a great find! We had waited too late to get into a state park and WPCE was suggested to us and we contacted them. Even though they were full for the Memorial Day Weekend they found a spot in a lovely field w/elect that was perfect. This campground also has... More

We were looking for a campground near Ricketts Glen State Park and am glad that we found this one. While we were much later arriving than we expected (it was well after dark) the owners were there waiting for us when we arrived and directed us to our site. The sites were very good sized compared to what we have... More

The folks here at Whispering Pines are very nice and the location is what you would expect in this part of PA. Rolling hills, ponds, streams, farmers stands, etc.. I think the best part is NO PHONE SERVICE. At all. It's hard to get a signal even in the towns around here.

My husband and I just returned from our trip to PA. We stayed 6 days at Whispering Pines and were very happy with our choice. We always worry about being able to get a good nights sleep (loud, late night parties). They assured us they make sure campers follow the quiet times and they do...we slept like babies! The facilities... More

Been seasonal here for a few years and really like to escape reality. Very rural and rustic setting, lots of birds to watch if the feeders are filled. The owners and the whole family are very friendly and great people. Can get away for the weekend and turn off the outside world, but have access to wifi if I need... More

Very impressed by Whispering Pines. We were visiting close family friends with a season site. It is a small campground with a lot to offer. Very peaceful setting with large spaces. We traveled with a 19 ft travel trailer. Hook ups were easy to use and quick to set up. Did not get to use public restrooms as we had... More

We stayed there two times last fall and liked it so much that we left our camper there on a seasonal lot for the 2013 season. It is a small campground run by a family who are very friendly and care about their guests. The sites are very nice and the prices reasonable. The bathhouse is small but nice and... More
