My colleagues and I recently attended a 2-day mental health conference at this location. We were a pretty big group (200+)! This was my first stay in any Ramada, and let me tell you...it impressed me beyond belief! Check-in was fast and effortless, the front desk staff was helpful, courteous, and professional. My room was very clean, the beds were... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Ramada Inn in State College frequently since 2009. Our two sons attended Penn State and we visited frequently and we have had excellent memories of our times at the Inn. We were recently there for a graduation. We have recognized that the quality of the Inn has gone down hill in the... More

We visited this hotel for the Happy Volleyfest. We found long black hairs in the shower a sock under the chair and behind the coffee maker was really dirty. Daily I moved the coffee maker in the hopes housekeeping would clean up the area and everyday they pushed the coffee maker back into the corner without cleaning the area.

attended a conference there which is the only reason I would choose this establishment. It is an older building with most rooms having exterior entrances, no private balconies. It does have a bar & restaurant on site. There are not enough parking spaces for the events they have. Motel has several additions that are connected but not with indoor corridors

Thank you for staying with us during your conference. When the property was constructed, guest rooms were accessed from the exterior of building. During our continual efforts to not only maintain the property, but to also keep the accommodations modern, we have created interior access to almost half of our guestrooms. Please know that we do provide parking for our... More

Well, we were all psyched up for this trip but the room was crazy far from the reservations desk not to mention we were clueless as to where to park to gain the best access to our room. The room was extremely small and the bathroom was smaller than my closet! No continental breakfast and the breakfast we paid for... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us from September 2014. As a larger property with almost 300 guest rooms, we realize that not all rooms will be located near the front desk. At check in, our staff provides maps of the property and specifies to each guest the best way to reach their guest room.... More

First...lets be clear...this is a motel...not at all a hotel nor a conference center. I can not believe that this place has not been shut down. The rooms are filthy with terribly stained upholstered chairs and worn out bed clothes. The toilet bowl in the bathroom was stained and shower was a mess. the carpeting was dark, stained, and the... I am sorry that you had a less than desirable stay at our hotel. First of all, our hotel is a conference center as we have over 20, 000 square feet of meeting space and we offer interior and exterior guest rooms. I cannot comment on your housekeeping experience since I am not sure when you stayed or if you... More

Feels like a roadside Motel. The outside wall is glass with a curtain, (70's feel). The room smelled very musty, felt like I was at an old beach motel. The room furniture was old, the pillows had barely any stuffing. Only there for a couple days & that was long enough. The staff were definitely friendly but the hotel desperately... More

We stayed 1 night to attend a concert in town. An older style hotel with room door that opens onto the parking lot, so expect a lot of noise. The room had the basics, comfortable beds, big screen TV, refrigerator, microwave and minimalist bathroom. Was clean but old. Yes it was loud in the parking lot, and loud from folks... More
