First of all, the ladies in the front desk is very rude and unkind. When checking in, they don't explain anything about the car parking and just yelling that pulling out my car from the valet area. Who can park the car in the parking lot when checking in? I did know later that the hotel offer the parking space... More

There are not many downsides to this hotel, if any. It is located on the (quiet) edge of PSU campus, but you don't have to drive through campus to get to it. It is easy to find, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and not pretentious. Even though you are not on the main street downtown, you will not mind... More

The front desk staff, transportation staff, and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were so comfy that I slept like I was in my own bed. The Shower was very nice also. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Most courteous and genuine customer service I have experienced. Very soothing atmosphere. Appreciated the free shuttle service. Impressed with food provided for snacks and lunch during our meetings. Stayed for 2 nights, hated to leave!

We stayed at the NLI both going to and returning from Detroit, with our infant daughter. Our first night was GREAT! Our room felt large & comfortable , the staff was very accommodating, the food at The Dining Room was excellent & we had a peaceful night sleep. The second night, we found the staff fairly accommodating, but we had... More

Comfortable bed, Keurig machine in room, large TV with good variety of stations, AC works well, friendly staff, free apples, on-campus location convenient to attending meetings there, prices are reasonable.

My husband and I spent a weekend at the Nittany Lion Inn and it was wonderful. The hotel is lovely and the staff is great. The restaurant is wonderful. And, we had fun time at Whiskers for drinks. We hope to get back soon!

Spent 1 night here during my son's orientation. People working here couldn't be nicer. From the accommodating valet parking guy to the extremely helpful front desk staff to the people responsible for the sparkling clean and modern rooms. We had a king bed suite which was incredibly comfortable. I needed a ride to the airport in the middle of the... More

Since graduating from Penn State years ago, I always wanted to stay at the Nitttany Lion Inn. Well, for our anniversary we finally made that dream come true. What a wonderful experience! Well kept and architecturally pleasing exterior with vibrant, colorful flowers in containers and a sundial garden. Take a rest on the front porch chairs. If you prefer valet... More

Intimate setting, great service, great wine, and good food. The service and the wine were top notch. The food was really good. Just avoid the Ceasar Salad. My only other complaint is that they offer and cheese plate and a meat plate separately. Not a problem if there were four of us, but for two, ordering both would have been... More
