Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the cleanest hotel rooms that I have ever stayed in. Mattress and bedding super comfortable. Good location - close to 322. Nice selection of food at complimentary breakfast and appreciated the complimentary coffee station being available 24/7.

This Hampton Inn is very clean, the staff is very friendly and the location is really convenient to the Penn State campus. I have stayed here before and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this hotel.

You have to start with the idea that all hotels are dirty - even the nicer ones. There is obvious dirt and less obvious. Many people disagree with that because they are so used to the dirty homes they live in. The in-room coffee maker is in the bathroom right near the toilet where other guests have defecated. It should... More

Andrew C., Thank you for taking the time to speak with me on the phone regarding your stay with us and the listed concerns you faced while at the hotel. While I am disappointed that we did not provide an experience that met your expectations, I do appreciate the feedback and we have already taken actions in modifying our daily... More

Room was clean. Beds were not up to usual Hilton/Hampton standards. Definitely older hotel, and while mostly renovated, perhaps the beds were not upgraded. Elevators were a little 'shaky' and slow, but it's only three floors, so totally manageable. Good location, easy to get to Penn State from hotel. Loved the extra-high vanity in the bathroom. TV had poor reception... More

A little bit older hotel. Front desk staff was helpful. Property was well maintained. Room was clean. Location was good (close to PSU campus). Rate below $100 was very reasonable. Would return on next trip to State College.

I stayed here while visiting State College with a friend and was not disappointed. The hotel is located off route 26 and is one of only three hotels on the strip. It's kind of tricky to spot at first, so you'll have to keep your eyes open. This is an older style Hampton Inn and the hotel is showing its... More

Great hotel overall. One of the best I used. Comments: Cleaning/maintenance people should pay more attention on replenishing shampoo/lotion supplies; at the second day I came earlier and they didn't have time to bring a new hand cream AND didn't bring it this day at all. In the room the AC fan is very quiet however the entry door didn't... More

Although the exterior of the hotel is one of the older brand standards for Hampton Inn, the interior, including public and guest room spaces, are all upgraded. The lobby and breakfast areas are clean and up to date with newer Hamptons. We were in town to visit Penn State, and the hotel is extremely close to the campus. Less than... More

Conveniently located just off Penn State's main campus. Stayed while visiting the university with my prospective student. Very convenient and easy access to the sports stadium entrance onto campus. Staff was friendly and professional and the rooms were clean and quiet. I definitely recommend this hotel when traveling to State College, PA or the surrounding area.

My wife and I have stayed here several times as it is a mid-way stop on our drives to Boston. It is always clean, easy to check in and out, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. It is usually around $100 per night. However, the prices double when parents can be expected to visit Penn State.
