The campground is mostly for RVs. We paid $39.00 for one night to tent camp. It was $36 for 4 people and $3 additional for another child. I think the camp sites should be able to include 5 at least. The fishing pass is $11 for one day or $13 for the weekend. The mini golf is $4/person and is... More

The park itself is pretty nice. Most of the staff were pretty nice as well. Managers are seriously riddled with mental illness. I met an older woman and a guy in his 40's. Both stars they were managers. Both are very rude, passive aggressive, confrontational and very unprofessional. It's like dealing with 4 year olds. From what I understand, in... More

Had a business meeting in the area and stayed here. I really enjoyed the experience. It was during the week after Labor Day so it was pretty quiet the time I was here, When I am in the area again I will definitely stay here

I always stayed here and I finally had to move my camper. You pay these people to be rude to you. There are other campgrounds in the laurel highlands. The office staff is the first people you speak with and it's there way. No if ands or buts.

This a beautiful facility, very well maintained and the staff go above & beyond to make your camping experience a delight! I would recommend this campground to anybody, its pet & children friendly & prices are inline with other facilities that we have stayed over the years.

It's a shame, I have been going to this campground since I was a child - the current owners parents ran it then. It is beautiful scenery and honestly the campgound is very well kept with a lot of anemnities. So now the problems and the reason I rate it so low - mostly every anemnity costs extra and the... Stayed here for two nights on our way to Gettysburg. We stopped here to visit relatives since my husband is from Johnstown. I wanted a campground close to the PA Pike, which this one is. Sites are large and with the gravel drives and quite level. It had rained prior to our arrival and most of the roads and sites... More

Our "maiden voyage" in our RV was from Alabama to Somerset - Pioneer Park. We were welcomed and set up in a wonderful campsite. We had rain everyday, to no fault of the campground. We stayed over July 4th and had a wonderful display of fireworks! The pool was cool and inviting, the staff was most hospitable and always the... More

One of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. We had a great time. Staff was great, and the facilities are 5 star. The park is surrounded by lakes and tall pines. A beautiful park, more like camping in Minn. than Pa

Love the campground, our site is nice and just about flat. Great view of the lakes and activities areas. We have 4 kids and 2 dogs and everyone has fun here. The kids love riding bikes around the area and we love to walk over and play tennis anytime. The people seem to be very nice and the service from... More
