We stayed at the Smoketown Inn 10/2/14-10/6/14. We reserved the Loft since it had exactly what we were looking for - something with a fully equipped kitchen. Just like being at home. The rooms were spacious enough and very clean. The staff was efficient and attentive. The owner, Mike even stopped by one evening to make sure we knew how... More

We stayed 2 nights in Room 7 the one with the fireplace. I am wondering if the people who wrote a review about the odd smell and nighttime noise stayed in this room It did smell oddly, like horses. Things are a little outdated but that didn't bother us. Nice TV and leather sofa. Snacks are there for 75 cents... More

We stayed at the Smoketown Inn August 15-17. My son had a baseball clinic at Millersville University. We had to book this last minute and the price was perfect. The woman at the desk said she had a loft place only and we said we'll take it, not knowing what we were getting. It was so nice. Two bedrooms, full kitchen,... More

Last week while visiting Lancaster Pa my wife and I stayed at this comfortable hotel. We couldn't get a reservation iat our first choice so we went with plan B and stayed at The Millstream Inn. The good newqs is it hasn't changed in many years. The bad news is it hasn't changed in many years. We always book a... More

My wife and I just spent seven glorious days in Lancaster County, we try to go every year. The Smoketown Inn was the perfect place for our week of adventure and we are already planning on returning there on our next trip. Great location, right in the middle of everything you could want to see or do. Wonderful staff, ready... More

The room was average, but the covered outdoor patio with gardens all around was really delightful for sitting and relaxing! The Inn is off of Rt. 30, so it was very convenient to local events. Nice pastries and sitting room for breakfast. Helpful staff too.

When we entered our room , we were met with a very odd smell. My husband said it smelled like horses. I went to a market and bought Febrese. By spraying this we were able to tolerate the odor. There was also a strange sound which continued through out the ni8ght. It was like a radio turned down low.

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was wonderful. You have different types of rooms to pick from and the prices are good. It is located in a beautiful spot close to shopping, restaurants, etc. It is very quiet with beautiful surroundings. The couple running the Inn are very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to stay.

This was our first time staying here and we can't wait to return. We went with friends that never stayed overnight in Lancaster and are asking us when we're going back. Our rooms were very clean and it was so peaceful and relaxing sitting on the patio, just what the 4 of us needed. Mike was walking the grounds and stopped... More

When we arrived we were greeted by a gentleman, who was very helpful in pointing us to a deli for lunch and telling us of some Amish furniture stores that I inquired about. He gave us local map and magazine too. He was also very insistent about writing the full license tag number on the paperwork! When we came back... More

Thank you for taking the time to evaluate our inn, as a follow up to your comments: We will remind our eager employees to be sure to wait to vacuum until 9:30am which is our standard procedure. Also responding to the comment " not the quiet romantic getaway," you may not be aware that our Carriage House is only for... More
