Skytop is a true historic lodge. If you enjoy being in a grand lodge built in another era, yet well-maintained, with emphasis on the outdoors, along with traditional lodge activities, you will probably really enjoy this place. On the other hand, if you like a modern hotel, with HD TV, today's technology and furnishings, and modern conveniences, you will be... More

I was extremely impressed with the top notch customer service. The food was fresh and delicious. The grounds were beautifully manicured and there was so much for our family to do. We will return. The rooms in the main lodge are a bit small. We are only a family of three. We will stay in the cottages next time.

It's was my one year wedding anniversary. An disappointed was clearly the theme of our stay. The grounds an scenery were breathtakingly beautiful. Dinner was expensive but worth it. They even had gluten free options. Which is a plus. The check in process sucked, we arrived early around 2pm (our choice) knowing check in wasn't til 4pm. We had booked... More

Be careful what room you book and don't expect the moon. Try out on the wings. We rejected the first one we saw (see below), and appreciated the help of an experienced (20 yrs!) bell man in finding a nice room. You are paying for the resort experience and not a deluxe room. Meals were excellent, with an assigned waiter... More

Found a LS deal for the zip-line adventure and fell in love with the pictures of the grounds. This was a weekend (Sat-Sun) getaway for my husband and I (READ: NO KIDS) for my birthday. We really like to stay active, especially when we can do the crazy stuff we did before kids, so this was a real treat. The... More

Overall the resort is tired. We had several issues with food and service. Reported to GM, and got a lackluster response. Furniture in main hall is threadbare and sorry looking. Activities (croquet, badminton, archery) equipment broken and in bad condition

I had a wonderful time with my son and his family at this resort with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, golf, a lake with inflatable slide, zip lining, fishing, bike riding and lovely meals in a huge dining room. There is a game room, miniature golf, ping pong and pool tables. I would recommend this resort highly.

Beds were not clean. There was hair in between sheets and in shower. Towels were of low quality - very worn out and thin, TV was riciculous an 80's model, doors didnt close at all between the connecting rooms, floors were disgusting. Bathroom needs major updating - disgusting is the best description. Room was right above the lobby and so... More

I’ll sum up what’s below by saying that I should have gone to trip advisor before coming here. If you get anything out of this Skytop review and the others on this website, it’s that this place used to once be great and is now in decline…many reviewers have said the same thing and I’m going to confirm that. There... More

Spent 1 night 2 days here for a bit of an adventure getaway. Booked 2 rooms, one was ready around 3pm which was supposed to be a twin but was made up as a king. They were quick to rectify but had stated this at time of booking. The second room was not ready until just after 4pm. I was... More
