For the past 20 years my family and I have been staying at the field and pine. The house is designed as a classic country home with details Disney should be envious of. We stayed here when attending the funeral of our grandmother. The hosts could not have been nicer, or more knowledgeable about local history. This was an experience that I would read about in magazines. The owners, Mary Ellen and Allen Williams were perfect hosts. They were so accomodating to our needs. The inn was built in 1790 and we enjoyed learning its history. I can recommend it very highly.
