I had a most refreshing and enjoyable stay at the Stony Brook Inn. Rose Ann and Pete are the ultimate hosts, making recommendations for local dining and outings throughout my time in the area. I will definitely come back for Baked French Toast and Amish Cinnamon Bread! Dr. Holly Cadwallader more

We spent a long weekend at stony brook inn, arrived late afternoon, our room was beautiful. Had dinner at Sam Smeads, great crab cakes. Walked back to the Inn to meet Pete and his lovely wife Roseanne. It was like coming home. They were the greatest hosts, the Inn is just beautiful. The breakfasts were incredible I was given the... more

Owners of the B&B very friendly. Stayed in the Oak Room, room was nicely decorated and clean. During the night you can hear the traffic from the road. every room has a private bath however you need to step out of the room and bath is next door. Breakfast was perfect. Good price. Easy to find. more

We enjoyed the cozy inn, hosts are friendly, their kitten Pebbles stole the show. We are cat people, and had a lot of fun with Pebbles. The setting is in the midst of a small village, next to the Playhouse/firestation. We heard the engine leave once in our overnight stay. The room, though small, was comfortable. The closet only allowed... more

Stayed at Stony Brook Inn on October 12 on my way home from the Berkshires. Innkeepers Pete and Rose Ann couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful re: local restaurants and activities. They like to interact with their guests. The teddy bear room is cute but not cutesy; street noise was minimal. Rose Ann's baked French toast was all that... more

We had stayed here five years ago and had this one on our list for this trip. We did not make reservations as our travels were not set. Tried to call on our cell-phone outside but didn't work so had to ring the doorbell. We were the only guests and we took the bridal suite. So what if we have... more

A warm greeting by the innkeepers, and a dip in the outdoor swimming pool for the kids was a great start for our two day vacation in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The restored 1850's home had a downstairs bedroom with 2 twin beds and filled with stuffed bears for our children, while we stayed upstairs in a... more

We stayed at the Stony Brook Inn this past weekend. It is a well run bed and breakfast, good breakfast, and the hosts Pete and Rose Ann were very friendly and helpful to us in finding things to do in the area. Would stay there again. more
