We walked in to the lobby to get a room and we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. We travel with a small dog and she made sure we had all the accomodations that we needed for the night. It was a dark and rainy night when we walked across the parking lot to our room and we had no trouble finding it. There was such atmosphere and charm to the old buildings...there are eight of them....it's no wonder it has been declared a Historical Landmark.
I really didn't expect much because of it's age, but our room was very clean and well taken care of. It didn't smell musty at all. They also have a wonderful restaurant and a new lounge area, not to mention the pool and hot tub. We had a very pleasant experience at the Towne House Inn and I would definately stay there again.
