After reading the older reviews, we were quite hesitate to stay at this campground, but all other options were booked for the Memorial Day weekend. I had to add a review as this place doesn't deserve the bad rap it's getting. I meant to take pictures as the photos on this page are not reflective of the current state. (Check... More

Let me first state that I was afraid to stay at this KOA after reading many of the reviews. I expected some rundown campground. This was not the case at all. The staff was friendly and helpful upon check in as well as over the phone. Our site was fine. We had no problems leveling our camper. There were quite... More

My friend and I were driving cross country and decided to crash here For the evening. The KOA was pretty easy to find and the check in was breeze. We were even able to buy some charcoal since we had forgotten ours. The cabin was an easy find and we quickly unpacked for the evening before having to move our... More

We did an overnight stay at this place and there is little that I can say that is good about this place. The lady in the office was nice and gave us as much bottled water as we could carry. They just dig a new water well and the water is heavily chlorinated, so they suggested using bottled water to... More

I stayed over father's day weekend. They had a sign saying ice cream social 8pm. I seen kids running over to the social and coming back empty handed. I went to see what was happening and could not believe it... They were charging those kids $1.50 for a scoop of ice cream. Even in a cheap hotel gives you a... More

While my family and I have stayed at many KOA's- I think this one was the worst The good: The place is very large and has lots of room to move, We really liked how the cabins were arranged and the staff is friendly. Also they have a nice sitting room in the lobby The bad: The worst bathrooms we... More

It was okay. My cousin was getting married in Pittsburgh, so we decided to make a mini-vacation of it. It was $150/night to stay at a hotel near the reception, or we could spend a bit more and stay three nights at the campground. It took us about 35-40 minutes to drive from the campground to the church/reception. We then... More

This KOA is located quite a distance from the freeway. The entrance gate was broken and sites are not level, but there is a very nice dog run. The park was mostly empty with a few long-term campers (apparent construction workers from out of town) and a few overnighters including ourselves. For an overnight stay this park is fine. But... We stayed 3 nights at this KOA while waiting repairs on our tow vehicle. It is quite a pretty park with lots of amenities which we did not use, but would be nice for families. The office staff are very helpful and friendly and access to the average size sights is good. However, the dust is awful. It is exacerbated... More
