We were going to the Sight and Sound Theatre and saw some reviews for the Countryside Motel which is very near to it, and indicated that it was simple and clean, which would meet our needs for one night. What we found was a old motel from the 70's in need of painting [our door was peeling], upgrading in terms... More

This is the first time we had stayed here and were very pleased. We had stayed at a Best Western the night before and it was twice as much and not nearly as clean! This little motel was in a good location. Close to everything we were interested in. Very friendly staff. If you are interested in the Amish, there... More

We live only a little over an hour drive to Lancaster and visit quite often. We could easily drive home after a day in Lancaster but most times we choose to spend the night, have breakfast and then drive home. We have stayed in several different types of accommodations, some fancy, some moderate. After driving past the Countryside Motel many... More

This motel is on a side road, away from the usual sight of any US suburbia: endless strip of motels, shopping malls and petrol stations. I was happy to find a place that was facing a corn field and a small church. At night it's quiet and relaxing, no neon lights, no signs, no noises. The rooms are basic and... More

I read the reviews on this motel and made reservations easy as could be, had a little trouble finding it but made a phone call and got directions and found it easily. This is a small basic CLEAN motel. The check in was quick and very friendly. The room is small but has everything you would need, even a fridge.... More

This was my first time staying here. The room was small, but clean. A small motel in an excellent location, close to Sight and Sound, restaurants, shopping. A great place to stay if you just want a basic room, no frills, inexpensive. I will stay here again on future visits to Lancaster.

we have been coming to this motel for over 9 years, ever since my grandchildren were small. They call it the" Ladys " place because when young they were afraid to sleep in someones place, my wife told them it was a friend of hers which assurred them it was fine. So now when going to Lancaster they still ask... More

The Countryside Motel is a good choice if you just need a place to sleep while visiting Lancaster. Rates are excellent, so you can save money and have more to spend elsewhere on your trip. Rooms are very basic. There are no extra amenities such as a phone, iron, shampoo, breakfast etc., but they are adequate if all you really... More

This is a great place to stay if you dislike paying for ammenities you won't use. It's quiet there, and in a great location if you want to enjoy everything Lancaster has to offer, especially the Sight & Sound Theater or the outlets. We always choose the Countryside Motel when we go to Lancaster since we save a lot of... More
