We arrived at the Days Inn in Ronks PA Friday, July 31, 2009 for a wedding in Lancaster the next day. When we got to Lancaster we had driven at least 7 hours and were all very tired. We checked into the hotel with no problems but immediatly upon entering the room noticed a very bad smell and found bugs... more

It is what it is, a budget hotel. Absolutely nothing special about this place. The rooms are okay, the staff could have been a little nicer and the continental breakfast was gross as expected. If you're coming here for a few days, it's fine. A week, no. more

I sure wish I had read these reviews before We stayed there. The whole experience was terrible. To start with, although they had wireless Internet service, it was not high speed. I'd guess it was hooked to dial-up service. Downloads were impossible. The breakfasts were not up to other motels standards. In addition, you almost had to fight Days Inn... more

In response to this post let me first say that some people will go to any length to get there point across even if it means, demeaning an individual or property or themselves. When these guest arrived at our property they were probably aware that at this property we have no safes or manner of securing personal items, they were...

The rooms were very comfortable and mostly clean. However, the main problem was with the staff. We booked our stay for two rooms for two nights. When we returned to our rooms the second night, our key cards did not work to enter the building. We had to walk around the outside of the building in the rain to the... more

In this case as with some in the past, guest refuse to accept responsibility for their own mistakes as with a guests misuse of the keycards. In most cases the guests acknowlege they had used or inserted the keys incorrectly and apologize. What they fail to realize is that after so many incorrect insertions the key deprograms and have to...

Six of us were visiting Amish Country for a long weekend and this hotel had the lowest rates. It was very basic, but acceptably clean. However, during our visit two of the three rooms were vandalized. In both cases it occurredin the morning while we were downstairs at the continental breakfast. There was no sign of forcible entry, and only... more

We recently stayed at the Days Inn in Ronks, Pa while visiting the Amish sights. I highly recommend this motel if your in the area. The rooms and motel were very clean with 2 queen beds per room. Each bed had 4 pillows which is unheard of in most motels I have stayed. The continental breakfast had regular size bagels.... more

I think I got bed bug bites too! and I also agree with the person who was unhappy with the breakfast - we had to eat in our room too and no trays to carry the food on! more

We stay here regularly and find it comfortable and clean. There have been comments made about a smell in the hallways. There is an odor - it is not unpleasant and seems to be from a cleaning product used. The rooms are large enough and not cramped. Some rooms have refrigerators. Bathrooms that we have had have always been clean.... more

Thank you very much for your honest and inciteful review of our property. We wish more guest would be as objective rather than looking to retaliate for a bad moment or bad stay. We would all respond better to criticism if it was tempered with some good comments.
