My wife and I stayed two nights for a weekend getaway without the children. We were in awe of the beautiful Inn. Our room was beyond incredible, and our hosts Brenda and Mark were amazing. The breakfasts were out of this world, and even more wonderful was the great conversations with Brenda and Mark and the other friendly guests. We... More

Thank you so very much for your excellent review of our inn! We truly enjoy running the inn, meeting guests, and doing the painstaking renovations, one room at a time! And after 18 years here at the Brownstone Colonial Inn, we are proud of the character this 18th century stone farmhouse has exuded through our hard work and dedication! We... More

This is are second time staying here and we love this historical house .It`s location is perfect for the antique shops ,but in a quiet location . The in keeper`s are knowledgeable of the area and made it feel like we were at home.

So glad to especially enjoyed the quiet location of our b&b! Though in the country, we are only a couple minutes from the Adamstown antique markets, about 15 minutes from Ephrata, and within a half hour of Lititz and Intercourse and Amish attractions! In years past, being in the country was sometimes difficult to locate. But with GPS and i-phones,... More

What a wonderful visit we had! The historic inn is gorgeous, and Brenda and Mark make the most gracious hosts you could hope for. Delicious food and great conversation, all in the midst of a comfortable and beautifully restored colonial farmhouse. Fun! Thank you and we can't wait to see you again! Rick and Dana.

The Brownstone Colonial Inn Bed and Breakfast with hosts Mark and Brenda Miller not only met, but exceeded our expectations. From the warm welcome to the lovely and comfortable accommodations to the scrumptious breakfasts and evening treats, the Millers definitely share graciously the gift of hospitality! In addition, their willingness to provide gluten free breakfast items to meet dietary needs... More

My wife and I have an adolescent son at the nearby Caron treatment facility. My wife and I were looking for a place to stay that allowed for peace during a turbulent time for our family. We found that and more at Brownstone. Mark and Brenda made us feel at home throughout our four day stay. Each morning we were... More

Thank you for your heartfelt gratitude! We are glad you found us to be a comfort during your recently difficult life journey. We've had opportunity to meet many folks who have had loved ones at Caron and are glad to provide a needed respite while your family is being educated and counseled at the treatment center. This is a great place to stay. We had a very quiet nights rest. This is just a peaceful setting. My wife and I love antiques and old historical places. This had it all. Besides the place, the innkeepers are enough to make you want to return. This place just felt like home. My summary comment is "awesome and authentic."... More

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review! You mentioned appreciating antiques and historical things! Our sandstone farmhouse was built before America became a nation! We think the original settlers may have built the kitchen first and while living in that section, staked their claim on the land, and next built the barn, which had a date stone... More

So much atmosphere in this authentically-furnished B&B. Brenda and Mark were welcoming but gave us our space. I was a little hesitant as this was our first B&B experience - wasn't sure if we wanted to be social early in the morning!! But we woke up to a fire in the huge kitchen fireplace, friendly conversation, and an amazing breakfast... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our inn! Glad you enjoyed the pumpkin pancakes with roasted pears and pecans! The pumpkin pulp was from pumpkin grown in our garden! We raise our own pumpkin, zucchini, tomatoes, potatoes, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and grapes. So summertime is very busy indeed with canning, freezing and preserves. We are definitely a country... More

We loved our experience at this B&B! We stayed overnight during a snowstorm, and the owners were very accommodating by picking up dinner orders from nearby restaurants for the guests, cleaning off our cars the next morning, and making sure we had a cozy fireplace. Breakfast in the morning was amazing and delicious! We'll stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our inn! I remember that very snowy weekend! Mark loves the opportunity to venture out with the 4-wheel drive in the fresh snow, so picking up guests' dinner orders was a delight! Hope to see you again soon at the Brownstone! More

We had a superb 3-day weekend staying in this awesome B & B. We visited on just about the coldest day of the year (I think zero degrees at night), but our room was warm and cozy. The atmosphere was awesome and the house still has original features from the 18th century. The owners are kind, gracious, and accomodating. While... More

I never realized that I could sleep better somewhere else than my own home, but I can truthfully say that I slept better at the Brownstone Colonial Inn than at my own home. The Queen Anne room is charming with its comfortable poster bed and warm flannel sheets in February. The quaint powder room with a converted, antique washstand for... More

Thank you for your most thorough review and kind words! Mark and I have been running our b&b for 18 years and we still love doing it! We are honored that you chose us, with a 20-minute drive, over any other lodging that would be closer, yet more congested with traffic and activity. More
