This is a B&B how it should be, a wonderful house, welcoming owners and - wow - THE best breakfast ever served in any B&B in the US so far, with fresh baked goods, cakes and fresh fruit in the middle of winter. just fantastic. But what I liked equally was the fact that this house is so tastefully restored,... More

Thank you so much for your kind words! We love when guests appreciate our preservation efforts and the extra mile we go for those who choose to stay with us at the Brownstone Colonial Inn! If you all can brave the elements, winter is truly a beautiful time to stay with us and enjoy the warmth of the open-hearth fire... More

We really enjoyed our stay and the Brownstone Colonial Inn. The owners Mark and Brenda Miller were so gracious and made us feel very welcome. It was our first experience staying at a Bed and Breakfast and we really enjoyed the family style breakfast. Mark and Brenda brought all the guests into the conversations and although I tend to shy... More

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable time at this B&B right after Christmas as a gift to yourselves. We were familiar with the general area but had never stayed at this property before. Boy did we make a good choice. The hosts were hospitable without being overbearing and this turned out to be a great location for taking... More

Stayed in Grandmother's Room. Everything was delightful except the shower would benefit from a hand-held showerhead. Mark and Brenda were excellent hosts and prepared a couple of delicious country breakfasts. Couldn't be more convenient to antiquing while being far enough out to let us jog along country roads in the morning. we will be back.

Thank you for taking the time to review our inn! We are glad we're conveniently located to the antique shops you so much enjoy and yet you benefited from the country environment! (And I think the shower-head needed an adjustment!) We will look forward to having you back again! More

I was guided by TripAdvisor reviewers, and they were all spot on. We stayed at shaker suite room and it was perfect for a family with two teens. The breakfast was great. Brenda and Mark has been a very good host. Thank you!!

Thank you for your kind review! I'm glad the Suite was comfortable for the four of you - the futon bed is actually a double, not queen, so I always try to remind folks of that ahead of time for consideration if bringing family. More

Before we even arrived at the Inn, Brenda was already warmly contacting us to welcome us to the property. When I spoke with her, she was more than willing to provide helpful and in-depth suggestions of local places to visit since we are not from the area. We planned on going the Christmas village and she was more than willing... More

This was my fourth stay at the Brownstone and there has not been a complaint yet. Staying near my family is very convenient as the inn is centrally located close to shopping, antiquing and the sights.

I was a last minute guest at the Brownstone and it was a perfect place to have a calm evening before Thanksgiving day and visits with friends. I loved coming out of the house and seeing all the farmland around. It was very "over the river and through the woods" feeling.
