Management response from
Cholmes4246, Manager

Since July of 2009 our hotel has modified it's management. The front desk manager has been changed as well as new staff added with significant training in customer service and hospitality. I am truely sorry that this guest had such a terrible stay with our hotel. I have contacted this guest and informed them of the changes in the hotel...

I stayed at the property a few years back and was happy at the progress made as there was alot of construction going on at that time. The rooms were clean and the people were friendly which I think is the most important for motels in this prices range. To the last reviews point, try to stay in the building... more

I read the reviews here but decided to stay here mainly because the prices were better but also because I already had had bad experiences at some of the other places in Reading. I brought up what I had read here during check in and was assured that as long as I stayed in the “front” building, there was nothing... more

PLEASE take the advice of the reviews here. DO NOT stay at this place. My family arrived at 3:30 and our room was not available. When asked when, the one woman running the place had to chase down the cleaning staff. A half hour later and still no answer. We were in town, just travelling through and stopped for the... more

Had three rooms booked for a two night stay for a short family vacation. Ended up checking out after one night. This was undoubtedly the filthiest, most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The rooms smelled of mold and urine; no working door locks or smoke detectors and the refrigerator had a towel in it to soak up the leaking... more

I'd have to say this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The facility was dirty and not at all maintained. We had a shower that would not drain. The first night we were there I called the front desk to have somebody come and take a look at the drain. Nobody showed up. I called again in... more

This hotel was possible the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We were first hit in the face with the most horrible smell in the hallway leading to our room. Our children wanted to go into the pool, that was semi clean, yet no towels on the towel rack. The staff said they would bring some out. Never did.... more

My stay at the Ramada Inn in Reading was a pure horror ruining my weekend. The room was filthy. There were cigarette burns that went through the top comforter down to the sheets. I would not let my dog sleep underneath the pilled and nappy blanket. Housekeeping come and change the bed, but the bed clothes were no better and... more

The restaurant is not great. sports bar food. the property looks a bit old but it seems like it was renovated recently. more
