Our maiden voyage with our new Travel Trailer, and since winter does not want to end we decided to dry camp and use the facilities. White Oak staff was very accommodating with us and we where able to use the bathrooms located behind the General Store; was a quick walk from our campsite. Bathroom facilities were a bit dated but... My wife and I stayed here for a month, Most of the RVs are set on blocks permanantly. Tool sheds, and junk piles all thru the place. We had to try 3 different sites before we could get close to level.

We stayed here for last minute weekend getaway and it turned out to be a very nice find. This was November so did not expect to be crowded but there was many camping families out. The CG is very affordable, no pool, playground for kids, paved roads, and decent sites in woods. The sites in front have amazing views of... More

We stayed at White Oak for one night (Friday) in our 20' campervan on a last-minute getaway to the Strasburg area for a day of bike riding. It was our first time in this particular campground. It's a small(ish), "mom and pop" campground, nicely wooded and well kept. It doesn't have a lot of amenities (no pool, etc.), but we... More

I have been staying here, tent camping for almost a month, and I love it here. It does get a little noisy in the mornings with lawn mowers and tree trimmers, but we had quite a bit of rain and they have to get stuff done before it gets too hot. I love the bathhouse..they bleach it down every morning,... More

Headed out for our first camping trip of 2013. White Oak CG is always our first choice. Great location...just a short drive to Strasburg.....the railroad and a quaint corner store for ice cream! Not far from the outlets and lots of shopping. Far enough awayk however, that you can see and experience the Amish, their horse drawn carriages, families working... More

My husband & I stayed here for one night. It was very quiet. Grass was mowed. When we came and left we seen staff members working around the campground. We had a very nice young woman who was working in the office. She was friendly & helpful with any questions we had. She even allowed us to pick which site... More

This is a friendly no frills campground. It is family oriented, no alcohol permitted. It is hard to find this type of camping anymore, I am appalled at the campgrounds I have been to that bring these big loud bands in on the weekends and people are walking around publicly drinking and very loud and obnoxious. I don't believe this... More

I reviewed White Oaks a year ago, mentioning that the bathrooms were clean but in dire need of remodeling. Well, much to my disappointment, the bathrooms have not changed except that they are now another year older and so rundown that they look dirty even after being cleaned by staff. The entrance to the individual showers are comprised of slimy... More
