I was at a week long conference in Punxsutawney last week and had the pleasure of staying at the Plantation Bed and Breakfast. Rather than being confined to a small bedroom after my meetings each day as I would have been at a hotel, I had my choice of several lovely spots around this picturesque home. Breakfasts were delicious and... More

Traveling through the western Amish area of PA, we were looking for a nice B&B near Punxsutawney, PA. Although this is the only B&B listed in the immediate area, it's a very nice one. The owner/operator is very welcoming and the home is a beautiful pre-civilwar home. Don't expect the usual 'breakfast included' type B&B, she does charge extra for... More

I actually don't charge for breakfast it is included in the price $115.00. I discount people who don't want breakfast because I get a lot of guests who come to see family and friends and go out with them for breakfast. I just wanted to clear that matter up. I love cooking, and the guests who do eat here seem... More

I was very satisfied with my recent stay at Plantation Bed and Breakfast. The house is charming in it's old age, the room was comfortable, and the host was very hospitable. The complimentary coffee/tea/hot cocoa station was very nice and definitely much enjoyed after traveling, and the living room with a burning fire was just the thing I needed to... More

This was our 8th stay at Plantation B&B. We have stayed here for the last 7 Groundhog Day celebrations and one stay for the groundhog picnic. Julie goes over and above as the hostess, and the breakfasts are wonderful. As a special treat for groundhog day visitors a "High English Tea" is served. The sandwiches, and desserts are delicious as... More

We visited Plantation on august 2012. Our first impression was "Wow! What beautiful house!", and then we met the owner, a charming woman who showed us the house and took to our room. The room was wonderful, big and very well decorated. At first we planned to stay one night but at least we stayed two nights and we didn't... More

It was nice to be the only guest in the whole home. I was able to relax quietly by the fire and soak inthe environment. My only recommendation is more Hot Cocoa and Apple Cider for the Keurig (not a huge coffee drinker). Plus there is also an interesting night visitor if you believe in this... ;)

We've stayed at The Plantation B&B at least 3 times over the last 3 years. It is THE most wonderful B&B we've experienced. The breakfasts are fantastic, hot, well prepared, and "to die for". We have family in the Punxsy area so we stay at the Plantation when we come up (from North Carolina). This B&B is a restored farm-house... More

I spent my first evening at this B&B back in 2009, on my way to Washington DC. It was such a pleasant & memorable experience that I vowed to return. Fast forward 5 years, and I finally had the opportunity to re-visit with my significant other. Everything was as I remembered - the perfect blend of historic presence, country charm,... More

We have been coming to this B&B for several years when visiting family in Punxsy. I look forward to staying there each time. It is so comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is delicious - blueberry pancakes are fabulous. Julie is a wonderful hostess and always so friendly.

OK, I admit it, I'm very spoiled with super nice sheets and I have to say that is the ONLY flaw I could find here. We were upgraded to a HUGE suite (The Groundhog Suite) that looks over the amazing garden. The bed was ridiculously comfortable (how do they do it?). I LOVE the little extras like a cork screw...
