I have read the low rating and poor reviews of this hotel and I have experienced nothing but a positive experience and would recommend this hotel. We stayed on the eighth floor with a river/city view. The room was updated very nicely. Starting with the bathroom it was sparkling clean and new. All new. Fantastic! The carpet, furniture and fixtures... More

We noticed strange pockets of fart smells throughout the hotel. Our bathtub drain had a bad sewer smell coming from it. Our room was also very noisy and we heard boat whistles and the train on a regular basis. Its WAY overpriced considering the age and condition of the rooms. The staff is nice and polite though.

The thing is, that when I stay at budget hotels, I have no expectations and am usually pleasantly surprised. When I stay somewhere like this Sheraton, I expect more, but end up very disappointed. The Wi-fi is incredibly slow. The ice machine on the 7th floor does not work; I have told the front desk twice. I am in an... More

The hotel is fine. Big rooms, standard Sheraton fare in terms of furnishings, etc. The restaurant is expensive for weekend brunch, try to get a room rate with breakfasts or wander out to one of the nearby places to eat (though they are basically touristy/chains, so keep that in mind). Parking is also expensive, so try to get that included... More

I just recently stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cost of the room was reasonable and the room size was great. Very spacious rooms, the beds were very comfortable. The hotel lobby was big and had a bar/restaurant. I enjoyed our stay there, the only thing I would suggest is having... More

You can't go wrong with booking a discount hotel room, agreeing to a small upgrade on checkin, and getting a King Suite with a stellar view of the river and downtown Pittsburgh skyline. Staff was friendly and attentive. Sheraton sweet sleeper bed is unbelievably comfortable. Temperature controls were easily regulated in the room. While taxi service is difficult to come... More

Driving back to Chicago from NJ. On the way out had a terrible night at another hotel in Pittsburgh area. Finding a hotel was a little trickier this trip than normal because we were traveling with our dog. Found the Sheraton Station Square on Trip Advisor. Looked like older reviews claimed it was a little rundown, but that the newer... More

Stayed for the Luke Bryan concert. Was told early check in would be available however when arrived we were told they were not even sure they could get us in at the regular time. Actually we weren't able to get to our room until 30min after the 3pm check in time. On top of the concert crowd, there were at... More

The hotel is nice, but the rooms are bad. We stayed in room 942 (9th floor), and the bed was a rock, and the A/C unit was so loud. We didn't sleep well. The TV is okay, with decent channels. Good view out the window. It was one of the "remodeled" rooms.
