Woke up in the morning to find a bug on the sheets at the foot of the bed. Squashed it and it was filled with blood. I didn't know anything about bed bugs when we stayed there, but after getting home and seeing a bed bug in my house a week later I realized that I should have been way... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights here as did other members of our large family. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Poor service all around, a "what can I do about it?" attitude from the staff, but, most frightening of all, elevators that were not working. It was not unusual to wait 5 minutes or more for... more

Holiday Inn Parkway East looks good from the outside. Looks are deceiving. My back is still recovering from the lumpy mattress, the AC was loud, and the internet connection did not work. Front desk appeared to be clueless. Spigot for sink was loose. Toilet ran. The only good thing about this room was the plentiful supply of hot water in... more

We prepaid through Priceline This is the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We requested non smoking several months in advance and we requested 2 queen beds. We got a sm0king room with 2 double beds on a smoking floor Top floor. We I complained about it, they said nothing they can do. It was our fault for booking... more

I stayed here for 3 nights, along with many family members, to attend a wedding. ALL of us experienced problems: elevators that did not work most of the time (some of us had to walk up 8 or 10 floors with suitcases); the room-to-room phone system did not work; and breakfast opened half an hour later than advertised. We were... more

We stayed here for two nights on a visit to Pittsburgh University JULY 11th and 12th. The location was too far from the university, and the hotel is old and shows a LOT of wear. The lobby is dusty, smelly and gross. When we got into the proper room -- after them giving us the key to an already occupied... more

I came in on a Friday that was jam packed in the neighbor... no rooms at other hotels and was happy to find rooms available. I was happy in all ways to fiind the staff/personnel helpful. I liked the fact that I could get room service(breakfast) in bed!! The kids enjoyed the pool and I was able to visit family... more

This place is old and dingy. My room was loud from interstate traffic. The bed sheets were itchy and uncomfortable. I would not stay here again. more

We chose this hotel because it was really cheap on Hotwire. Bad choice. The room was very dirty and we didn't feel safe at all. The neighborhood just behind this hotel (Wilkinsburg) is not a nice place. Pay more to stay somewhere else--it's worth it! more

I have stayed at this hotel twice, both booked through priceline. The first time was in Aug 07 and it was terrible. The rooms were not clean and we woke up with bug bites. The 2nd time I was very reluctant but it was nonrefundable so we went. This time was better. the room was clean, no bug bites. The... more
