We had a great stay and love the delicious breakfast each morning! Very easy to get to and beautiful setting! Saw Mr. R eating his dinner! Sorry mom, we will be staying here again when I'm back in town!

We recently enjoyed our first visit to Pittsburgh, a trip that was made so much better by our choice of the Parador Inn. We brought along our dog, who was welcome in the carriage house located just behind the beautifully restored mansion. No extra fee required! And he was also also welcome in the lovely enclosed courtyard where guests are... More

I travel quite a bit. Luckily most of my work lands me in Caribbean islands. When you come from a place like Seattle where the chance of sun is slim to none... the experience is ephemeral yet perpetual; a perfect yin/yang. To top this off I am an artist and a a writer. My perspective of the world tends to... More

My husband and I live north of Pittsburgh. For my birthday, we had tickets to see "Wicked" at the Benedeum Theater downtown. We have known about the Parador Inn since it opened. We have toured the neighborhood many times over the years. I promised my husband that I would treat him to a stay there for his December birthday. The... More

Lucky for us that Ed, the host, moved his Parador from Florida to Pittsburgh's North Shore. What fun to have tropical surroundings on a bleak wintry weekend. While the Victorian architecture and furnishings were interesting, what really made it interesting were the unique tropical touches Ed gave the Parador. We stayed on the top floor in a huge two-room suite.... More

My wife and I spent our 10th year anniversary at the Parador, we stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was amazing, and had so much character. Breakfast in the mornings execellent and were personally prepared by the owner,Ed. The place exceeded our expectations. Definitely the place to stay if you are ever in Pittsburg

Beautifully restored Victorian with a fun Caribbean flair! We stayed 3 nights in the Allamanda -- a lovely room with fireplace and a separate living room with sleeper sofa. Excellent breakfast, super friendly staff, parking included and so close to Andy Warhol Museum, Mattress Factory and walkable restaurants. Thanks for a great stay, Ed!

We stayed at the Parador for the better part of a week and were delighted with our stay. The house is beautiful and makes you think you were transported to the Caribbean with the decor and the great reggae music playing throughout the first floor. We stayed in Bromeliad, which is the second story of a carriage house. It was... More

The Parador Inn is a magnificent reminder of how the wealthy lived in the late 19th century, complete with 12 foot high ceilings, beautiful woodwork and stained glass windows, an elegant staircase and filled with antiques. My sister and I stayed there for a long weekend and found it the perfect place to explore Pittsburgh's arts and culture. We had... More

We have stayed at this hotel twice now, after coming down to Pittsburgh to go to a Steelers game. The house is amazing and Ed has decorated it so beautifully - the tropical decor somehow fits in very well with the Victorian furnishings in the home. Ed puts on a great breakfast, and there are also some tasty restaurants in... More
