My wife gave me tickets to a Pirates game for my birthday. After making a reservation at the Courtyard Pittsburgh Downtown, we were having dinner with friends. After they heard our plans, they recommended the Parador. We were able to cancel our reservations at Courtyard, and we booked the Bougainvillea room at the Parador. We never stayed at a B&B... More

My boyfriend and I were in town for a concert Sunday night at Stage AE. The B&B is located just a short walk away. We arrived just before 3pm and our room was ready (African Tulip). Ed provided us with a tour of the property and introduced us to the pups! <3 The guestroom was large and well appointed, loved... More

My wife and I found the Parador here on TA and loved it! Ed was a great host and spectacular chef. We enjoyed staying at this historic and beautiful home. We stayed in the Bird of Paradise room which was large and so relaxing. The original clawfoot tub was spectacular. Breakfast featured orange-french toast while we were there and it... More

My wife and I stayed at the Parador Inn for the second time while in town for Pirates baseball. The Inn is an easy 20 minute walk to PNC Park and right around the corner from Heinz Field. Ed is always a gracious and kind host. His staff, Ty & Dee are also very helpful and attentive. The rooms, we... More

If you are looking for a 'home' away from home, The Parador Inn is the place to stay in Pittsburgh. Hearty welcome, warm hospitality, informative, breakfast to 'live' for not die for, as you would like to experience another culinary delight. The room is immaculate, warm deco and all the amenities. Which included comfy robes! Ed and his staff are... More

My hubby and I are always looking for something other than cookie-cutter hotel rooms, so we were delighted to come across The Parador Inn. It is a beautiful old building, with all the quirky charm that goes along with that. The Victorian furnishings are impressive, the tropical decor is colorful and whimsical, and the Caribbean music in the background of... More

Whenever possible we like to find places to stay that have their own unique character and where we feel we have a home away from home. From the moment we walked in the door of the Parador we knew we had found such a place. We were greeted by Ty who gave us a tour of the Inn before we... More

We found this through trip advisor and loved the way that the rooms looked. They were even better in person! We loved the character of the entire building. Ed was great - very helpful on what to do, places to go, etc. The breakfasts were great as well. We will definitely stay here again. It is a great place to... More

We stayed here with friends. We were in town for the Pittsburgh Marathon. The owner, Ed and his staff - Ty and Dee were absolutely wonderful! They were such a great help in assisting us in navigating our way around town, making suggestions for restaurants, etc. The breakfasts we enjoyed were heavenly! And the inn is a beautiful blend of... We stayed at the Parador for a combination genealogy search/Pittsburgh 1/2 marathon. This B&B is located near the T which made getting to the start line painless. Also there is a 7/11on the corner so I handled my prerace coffee quick & easy on the walk to the T. (After the fact it dawned on me that I'm sure Ed... More
