Took a family vacation to visit Kennywood and Sandcastle. We stayed 5 days and 4 nights. The rooms were old and needed some renovations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant had good food and was reasonably priced. The breakfast was very good. The pool was the best we've seen in a hotel/motel. It was olympic size and 10 feet deep. The location was good too. It is right off the parkway and only a few miles from Kennywood Park and downtown. more

Rooms were awful. Had to kill two large black spiders in the bathroom area. Same issue in another room with people traveling with us. We had 4 people in the room and cleaning staff would only leave 2 towels. No pillow available in the room for the fold out couch. Door would not shut with out slamming it. Not very... more

We stayed here one night. The place could use some updating. Cleanliness was okay, not great, not horrible. Park your car close to the office because someone else's car got broken into and they were parked far from the office. I probably wouldn't stay there more than a night.
