We realize every room will be different, but our bed was so uncomfortable we had a bad night. It had a depression in the middle. Another problem that was hard to sleep through was the smell from the hotel kitchen that started cooking about5:30 or 6. am - it needs better venting. Otherwise, the staff was nice and the breakfast... More

Great location-definitely park on the street to save the $15 parking fee. They charged $20 for a rollaway bed, which has never happened with a Marriott property before. Room was a little sticky and worn. Breakfast was good.

We had a 2 night stay at this Resisence Inn. The good points - room was very clean, staff was pleasant and helpful - Roxanne at the front desk was very patient and helpful answering my many questions - breakfast was plentiful and very good. The breakfast staff was also very pleasant and worked hard to keep up with the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 evenings on August 30-31, 2014. The front desk services was top-notch and friendly, and the accomodations were very good. Some of the furniture was a bit worn, and a little maintenance was lacking here and there, but overall very good. Parking was $ 15.00 per day, but you had 100% in-and-out privileges. Close... More

If you are going to spend more than one night away from home, consider this hotel. The location is perfect-it is within minutes' driving distance to the University of Pittsburgh and nearby Carnegie Mellon. A shuttle will take you to the University of Pittsburgh if that is where you are headed. The hotel is within a 5-10 minute walking distance... More

This Residence Inn is definitely not the crown jewel in what really is a fine chain of hotels. Rode up the elevator to the check-in / breakfast area and was asked if i had a floor preference. I really didn't and was assigned a room on the 4th floor. You need to access the guest rooms via a completely different... More

There were several good things about this hotel, but the elevator system was not one of them. It is not possible to get from the parking lot to your room without quite a bit of walking and then changing elevators. It would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues to navigate this hotel comfortably. As others have listed, the building... More

This hotel was fine, but really not up to date compared to other hotels. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet. The TV kept losing connection. The hot tub was only at 86-90 degrees (just above Luke warm) and was a disaster when the bubbles come on. Even with sitting up straight the bubbles are crazy and splash... More

When we checked in, the man at the desk was openly hostile. When my parents did not understand what he said, he raised his voice and rolled his eyes. Yes, we are immigrants, but we want to be treated with respect, especially by an employee at a hotel that probably has lots of foreign visitors. When our room was cleaned,... More

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast buffet, excellent staff. Conveniently located right near the center of town. I must comment on the cleanliness of the breakfast buffet. The gentleman was constantly cleaning the buffet and replenishing the food. I have stayed at 5 star hotels that do not have the same standards. You will not be disappointed.
