This is our "go to" hotel when visiting U of Pitt with our student . Rooms are in great condition And the hotel staff is excellent. Polite. Well trained and accommodating. The parking setup is strange under the building but it is a city hotel so there is always the expectation of some inconvenience. Wish guest parking was free or... More

Nice property with excellent customer service. Perfect for business travelers or families. I was a little skeptical to stay here after reading some other reviews but I'm glad my group ended up staying here. Sure, it's beginning to show a little wear and tear but nothing out of the ordinary. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

We visited this hotel when we visited Pittsburgh one of the cities along the way on our road trip. The hotel is not new however it's was quiet the place itself is clean. We stayed in a room that had a full kitchen which was great. The breakfast is free and we thought it was great to be a continental... More

Enjoyed one night at the Residence Inn Pittsburgh University/Medical Center, PA in a two bedroom suite which was perfect for my two grandsons and me. Everyone had their own bed and two bathroom made life easier. Breakfast was the usual quality Residence Inn options and provided a good start for the morning. Seems like this property should rate higher on... More

We stopped at this Residence Inn enroute to Chicago, IL. What a pleasant surprise! Upon arrival the manager gave us an upgrade without us even requesting. I had only booked for a single bedroom for my family of four but we were given the two bedroom. The hotel itself is worn but clean, the manager and staff were great. Shuttle... More

The staff members at this place make all the difference! It may not have all the top amenities, but the manager and all the people here will make you feel like family. My family (and 2 cats) stayed here for two weeks waiting for our house to close. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating - if we needed anything, they... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week while I had business in Pittsburgh. We really enjoyed our stay. As always, it was the staff of the hotel who made it great. I want to give a shout out to the Assistant General Manager, Josh, how was helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and very sharp. It was great talking to him... More

I stayed at this location from 9-11 July. The hotel is an old retirement home with a poor renovation attempt. From the cabinets, to bathroom fixtures, to old kitchen, this property even smells like a retirement home. I'm a business traveler and seeing some really sketchy individuals (guests) throughout the hotel made me feel as if this was a motel... More

Worst Residence Inn I have stayed in. Stayed on the 4th floor. They do not close the patio at night so the noise is nonstop. This is the last night I am staying and its 1:00 AM and kids are dragging the chairs around on the concrete and yelling. The elevators run in such a rough manner you think they... More

Stayed here for a family reunion and found the staff and service to be excellent. I'm allergic to feather pillows so I called down to the front desk to have them changed around 10pm and they switched them out about 4 minutes later. We used the pool and hot tub both were clean although the towels by the pool were... More
