We stayed one night, August 29th for a Pirates game and the location of this Hotel couldn't be beat. Check-in went smoothly considering the amount of people checking in at the same time and the room was spacious and clean. We were next to the elevator but could hear no noise. I can't comment on the breakfast because the room... More

The bumbling of my reservation and being displaced for the first night of my reservation only to get hit with a no-show charge can only result in mismanagement and lack of training. The front desk staff was apologetic but it typically took three people to complete a simple task. The management never followed up with my calls. The rooms were... More

What a great location, hotel staff was very friendly and the room was great. Lots of room and very clean. Need to improve on the am breakfast with better quaility and have it maintained. Spend less for the name brand coffee, alot of other good quaility for less money. Parking half the price out the back door across the street.

Very glad you enjoyed your stay with us and I appreciate your feedback, we have recently made some changes to the breakfast setup in order to provide quality and quantity during heavier traffic times of Steelers and Pirates games. More

We stayed at the Hyatt last night and had a great experience. We walked to PNC park and then walked to several local bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel is new and in a great location. Our room had a king bed and a nice pull out couch that our kids (5 and 7) slept on comfortably. The hotel is... More

I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times this year and will be staying there again a few more times by the end of the year. There are different reasons why I love this hotel. The first being that it is very close to PNC Park, home of MLB's Pittsburgh Pirates. You do not have to walk far... More

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had them provide us with directions to multiple places. The pool is small but very nice (and warm)! I plan to come back with my family for a "pleasure" trip as this one was for business purposes!

Long weekend family reunion in the area with one night stop in Pittsburgh to watch the Pirates at the ball park. Hotel has plenty of private parking and is within throwing distance of both the ballpark and the Steelers stadium. Hotel was fine, very spacious rooms (with sofa sitting area) and comfy bed. Check in could have been smoother as... More

I chose to stay at the Hyatt Place due to it's proximity to the Pirates PNC Park and the downtown area as well as the cost relative to the other hotels in the immediate area. The location is across the street from the park and a 2 minute walk to the park entry gates. The North Shore light rail station... More

Great location for activities on North Shore. Rooms very nice, clean and bright. Packed due to events however not enough staff to keep up with needs at breakfast. Couldn't keep food, plates etc stocked. Ended up going outside to eat.
