I find myself in Ptg often for business. I have stayed at the Springhill suites and Hyatt many times in the same area. This is by far my favorite for several reasons. The hotel is fresh and new. The location is excellent, close to several restaurants, businesses and PNC Park,my room was very clean and extremely spacious, with a kitchen,... More

I would much rather spend the extra $20 and stay at the hyatt. This "hotel" charges a ridiculous amount money because of the full kitchen but unless you are staying long term it is pointless. The staff is rude and unprofessional first and foremost. Once in the room, there is no ice and no ice machines or vending on the... More

Had a one night stay for business and a Pirates game. Hotel is convenient to the ball park and many restaurants. Room was rather spacious and had a very comfortable bed. Didn't get the chance to have the breakfast due to meetings, but it did look pretty good. Will definitely stay here again, business or pleasure.

I stayed here on a friday into saturday. I attended an afternoon business meeting and then a Pirates game in the evening. GREAT location. Right across the street from PNC park. Plenty of places to eat and /or drink in the area. The river side path is a block away. There were pleanty of people running, riding bikes, and walking.... More

This hotel is clean and in a great location right next to the ball park. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast excellent. I would definitely stay again. There are many restaurants within walking distance and the hotel offers a free shuttle.

Booked two rooms through Priceline for a one night stay at the Residence Inn North Shore on Aug 26th. The rooms themselves (Rooms 219 and 221) didn't have much of a view but were completely acceptable. Pros: -clean room and comfortable bed -pleasant hotel staff -free breakfast offered to hotel guests until 9:30am (lobby, in front of main desk). Very... More

This was our first trip to Pittsburgh and to a Pirates game at PNC park. We parked our car for the 3 days and used the shuttle service and walked to check out the city. PNC park is literally across the street and was open for the fans to walk in and check out the day before our game. The... More

This was a great spot. I was here for work - the small kitchen and layout were fantastic. The service was stellar and the food was great. Within walking distance of good food and across the bridge you have even more opportunities for activities and food. Overall a great hotel stay. Only issue was that it only stocks Pepsi products... We had 3 rooms here for the weekend for my fathers 80th birthday. The entire staff Could Not have been more attentive, kind, & professional each of the 3 days we were here. Great location almost touching PNC park! 2 blocks from the Andy Warhol museum. We took in dinner at station square one night & Monterey Bay fish grotto... More

This is a beautiful, new Residence Inn in probably the best location in Pittsburgh. You can walk just about everywhere. Be aware that the pool is incredibly small, and there is no hot tub in the pool area. One oddity with the two-bedroom suite - the king bedroom does not have a bathroom in it - you have to go... More
