Everything about this place is disgusting: the staff, the owner, the rooms. Was treated disrespectfully from day one of staying. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you want to stay in a place that treats people poorly than goodluck to you.

A beautiful old home built in 1904, this Bed and Breakfast offers a taste of a different time. The staff is extremely generous with their time and attention and the rooms are lovely. While a bit hidden, the home offers a very nice change from chain hotels for a night in the city. And it truly feels like a home... More

For those who love post Victorian architectural elegance and fantasizing what it would be like to spend a night in a real mansion in Pittsburg's upper crust neighborhood where Andrew Carnegie and the other steel barons lived as they helped build America, and are not willing to invest $500-$1000/night this is THE PLACE for you. It is off 5th Avenue,... More

Upon arrival, met up with Krystal, whom showed us around. Loved the woodwork in the mansion, our room 2, was lovely. bed was comfortable and the views were wonderful. Staying 2 nights, we got to know the staff better, Shaun and Krystal were accommodating with our needs. Our breakfast was good both days. eggs and bacon or sausage. (Chukky, still... More

The Mansion is in a secluded quiet location on Maple Heights with easy car parking and within easy walking distance of buses and Shady Side shops and restaurants on Walnut Street. Our host was friendly and served the best cooked breakfast of our month long trip. Highly recommended!

My parents gifted us a one night stay here the day after our wedding for our "honeymoon" since we won't officially be going on our honeymoon until our one year anniversary. We got upgraded to Room 1, the Executive Suite upon our arrival although our reservation was for Room 2. Room 1 was absolutely gorgeous and the shower was AMAZING.... More

We stayed one night while settling our daughter into a new apartment nearby. It is a lovely mansion, beautiful woodwork, enormous common rooms. Our room was above average size, pretty, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. We had an average, made to order breakfast, only negative was the toast was only toasted on one side! Owner was pleasant as... More

Let me address the positives first: The mansion has great potential since it is a beautiful structure in a secluded location. Unfortunately, it appears to be very poorly managed. If I were the owner I would hire a consultant who knows how a B & B should be operated and decorated. Concerns: The rooms were not nearly as clean as... More

This is the first bed and breakfast my husband and I have ever stayed at. We received a gift card as a wedding gift two years ago. We waited until we had some down time in our hectic schedule to head off for a quiet and relaxing weekend. I chose the Mansion because of positive reviews, pictures, and its proximity... More

This was suppose to be a wedding anniversary celebration for my husband and I. The photos on the site are definitely photo shopped. We arrived in the evening and were shown our room by Sam who said if we needed anything he lived on the grounds and was reachable by phone. We got to the room and were shocked. The... More
