We stayed at the inn during playoff weekend (not intentionally) and enjoyed every second of our stay. My husband and I were meeting up with family we don't get to see a lot and the inn offered us a very comfortable environment to share our quality time together. We stayed in Emma's room. 2 very comfortable Queen Beds and a... more

This was our second stay at the Inn and we will certainly be there again. While visiting family and friends in Pittsburgh, it is the perfect place to come back to relax and unwind. Both times we have stayed in the Back Suite which is a small, cozy room on the third floor. Breakfast is at leisure as it is... more

Stayed one night at this lovely b&b! Will definitely be back again. We stayed in the mini suite on the third floor. It is located in a great, charming area. The area is still developing.. but it is far from raw. We felt very safe here and walked all through the neighborhood. Jeff, one of the owners gave us some... more

I hosted a birthday party for my husband at the Inn. The party was wonderful, the setting, the food, the owners of the inn and their staff were superb! It was great fun then for many of the guests to be able to sleep over and we had breakfast together the next day. I cannot say enough about this gem... more

During our vacation trip to visit Pittsbugh, PA we had the good fortune to run across this fabulous bed and breakfast. It was built in the 1880's I believe, and the rooms were all elegant. The room we had was over the top roomy and so comfy. The owners Jeff and Karl went out of their way to accomodate us.... more

After booking my stay several weeks ago, I got slightly apprehensive after reading the most recent negative reviews. But, my worries went for nothing. The Inn met and exceeded my initial expectations. Originally built in the late 1800's and restored in the 1990's, the Inn is charming, comfortable and has terrific character. It is furnished with a combination of period... more

From the outside and from far away, it looks beautiful. But once you get inside (or even on the porch), you can see how dirty and dusty everything is. The staff is not much better. Our reservations were for 7:00 and the chef didn't arrive until 7:30, so we waited at the small (claustrophobic) bar. You would expect the bartender... more

We had out of town guests staying the week-end of 6/16/2006 for a wedding and due to a lack of hotel space in Pittsburgh caused by the US Open, we booked them into this property. Unfortunately, we found the Inn to be more reminiscent of Disney's haunted mansion than a welcoming retreat in the city. We arrived late on Saturday... more

We visited the Inn during the first weekend of June and saw a game at PNC Park. (The ballpark is within walking distance) Very beautiful property--the Inn is very well kept. Bob was wonderful. He checked us in, and was very helpful during our stay. I would suggest trying the Montery Pub around the corner if you are looking for... more

We loved our stay at the Inn. Carl and Jeff were the best. They were very friendly and attentive. The foyer was exquisite, and the rooms were a great value. We went with another couple, and had pretty much a private two bedroom apt. on the top level. The bird sanctuary across the street was wonderful . I highly recommend... more
