My son and I stayed in this beautiful B&B on a recent trip to Pittsburgh. The hosts were exceptional and they were more than helpful with advice on parking, getting around town and places to visit. The room was very comfortable with lots of room and the common areas were stunning. If I ever get another chance to visit Pittsburgh,... More

We stayed here for our anniversary on Dec 20 & 21, 2013. It is a beautiful B&B. We stayed in the Mr Boggs Suite which was very roomy and has a great view of the park and the Pgh skyline. When we arrived, Jeff met us and shared so much about the area. Gave us great tips on where to... More

I stay at this B&B at least once a year when I travel to Pittsburgh for Steelers games. I found this place about 6 years ago, and I would never stay anywhere else in Pittsburgh. I've stayed at other B&B's close to Heinz Field, but The Inn on the Mexican War Streets is the only place that makes me feel... More

Great location for walking to the Steeler's game. Decor is interesting in the common areas but a little strange in the guest room. Bed linens were aged and tattered, and lacked the smell of being freshly washed. No mattress pad and the pillows were worn. Breakfast was fine, although it didn't meet the standard of most B&Bs, since it was... More

Usually I stay at downtown hotels but they were tight this week so decided to try a B&B. Had no idea what to expect. Turned out North Shore is a cool "new" neighborhood that seems to be very interesting, safe, and welcoming, and gives you much more of a window into the real Seattle than staying in an impersonal place... A grand house in the best of 19th Century style lovingly restored for its 21st Century guests. We visited as a couple on a long weekend fling to explore Pittsburgh's various offerings, which included the Pittsburgh Grand Prix. We had a lovely room en-suite, with a healthy continental serve-yourself breakfast where we chatted amiably with some other guests. Our hosts... More

We stayed here one night because our friend was getting married at the Aviary in the park across the street. It was only a five minute walk to get there. The host gave us a few great dining recommendations as well. Our room, the Red Room was cozy and cute. It was exactly what we expected from a historic home... More

We stayed at the Inn for two night while visiting family and attending a Pirate's game. The convenient location made foot travel easy. The beautiful grounds, the park across the street, and the grand front porch added relevance to the history of the Bogg's mansion. We walked the Mexican War Streets admiring the architecture, coffee shop, and pubs. The room,... More

This is wonderful place to stay. It is in an old mansion in an interesting neighborhood, across from a lovely park and near some restaurants. Parking is breeze and you can walk to PNC Park and Downtown and presumably to Heinz Field. The owner is very helpful and friendly and, at least when we were there, the other guest were... More

We chose this B&B for one night we had in Pittsburgh and this was an agreeable experience. The host was very friendly and helpful, gave us heaps of advice for sightseeing and eating out. I must concur with other reviewers that the lone negative review is hard to believe. The location is within walking distance of the Andy Warhol museum... More
