New renovations make this a nice hotel. My local friends were afraid of the place because it had a bad reputation for being old. However, it turned out to be an excellent hotel. Our room overlooked the McKnight Rd. Valley and was clean. They did miss one day of cleaning though. Apparently, they had staff problems and missed our room.... more

We did encounter quite a few major problems while staying here. In the hotels defense, they did try to correct each problem. A bit of prevention could have gone a long way to fend off most of the issues. Housekeeping- terrible. Some days all they did was give us new (and not enough) towels. The houskeeper felt the need to eat my snacks, while I was out of the room...and didnt even bother to clean, he did throw the dirty towels in the hallway though...and the place was dirty, food trays in hallsways all day and night! more

Great place to stay! Very much worth the rate. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Only thing is its a little tricky to figure out how to get in the parking lot. I would defenetly stay here again. more
