Loved this hotel. We stayed for two nights during our first exploration of Pittsburgh. It was conveniently located on the north shore within easy walking/driving distance of local sights, downtown, and the south shore. The staff was very helpful in recommending local restaurants and navigating to nearby destinations. Our room was pristine and the lobby rooms and outdoor courtyard were... More

The Priory Hotel was everything we could have asked for. The room was charming, the staff extremely helpful and it is conveniently located. All in all, it was an experience to remember.

we recently decided to take a much needed weekend getaway to pittsburgh to see some museums and enjoy some fine dining. Not wanting to go to a large chain hotel, we opted for a bed & breakfast. The Priory stood out as a good choice, reasonably priced, close to the downtown area museums , restuarants and PNC Park. with free... More

The hotel's website does not do justice to reality. This isn't exactly a bad hotel, just weird. Very weird. And I will not be going back. First, an important note: no elevators. No bellmen. Narrow stairs. If you are out of shape or otherwise unable to carry heavy objects up steep stairs, so not stay in this hotel for any... More

Our room was beautiful overlooking the courtyard. We had a package deal including our Dinner & Dance Cruise on the Gateway Clipper and a bottle of champagne with chocolates, fruit & pastries in our room. It was an amazing birthday surprise from my husband. Although, I gave the service, location and rooms a very good rating I still feel the... More

The hotel is lovely and the staff could not have been more helpfull. Our stay was all about relaxing and the staff, while willing to help, were in the back round and mostly out of site unless needed. The evening wine and bar in the sitting room was very nice and added to the relaxing feel of the hotel.

I have spent a great deal of time in Pittsburgh, but this is a hidden gem. This quiet, quaint hotel is both comfortable and inviting. The furnishings and decor are unique and the service was excellent. I look forward to staying in the future.

you will find a most delightful respite with European flair at the Priory. My husband had a business meeting in Pittsburgh, so we combined his trip with a visit to my son's family and the grandchildren. Having stayed on prior visits at nice hotel chains - whose facilities are pretty much the same regardless of the brand or locale -... More

The hotel and attached hall are beautiful and historic buildings. The hotel has winding staircases (note that are no elevators in the hotel), bay windows, and turrets that capture that feeling that hotels should be more than just 20 stories of space optimized rectangles. The Grand Hall is particularly nice with high vaulted ceilings and more stained glass than the... More

A converted priory on a quiet street, on the North Shore close to downtown and the baseball/football arenas, The Priory is beautiful, quiet and friendly. The cost of the rooms is not high, and includes wine in the evening, a nice breakfast buffet in the morning, and a free shuttle to downtown Pittsburgh. If you want a glitzy new hotel... More
