We stayed at the Priory Hotel January 2015 for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff were great. It was a quiet and cozy place. We enjoyed having drinks at monks bar before hitting the town and sitting by the wood burning fireplace. Looking forward to a return visit.

The facility is very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. It is wonderful to stay at an urban boutique hotel that offers complimentary local shuttle service AND free parking in an adjacent lot. However, our queen bed had a mattress that desperately needed replacing and our shower made a cruise ship shower look big. So when it comes down... More

I was so excited when my husband found a place to stay that fit all my requirements. Historical, breakfast included and within walking distance of the sports complex at a fair price. My excitement turned into pure joy when we were greeted by helpful staff at the front desk. Every question was answered politely and with more information then I... More

My 2nd visit to the Priory in 2 years did not disappoint. The charm of antiques and a vintage setting is great, but even more importantly, they have really worked hard to provide a comfortable experience for their guests. Also, the free breakfast is probably the best we've had on the road and if weather permits, one cannot beat eating... More

The Priory, located on the PNC side of town was also a short walk to the Andy Warhol museum. A stroll is not a luxury scenic walk. Indeed, one must think pragmatic supermarket and underpass. The parking lot across the street was convenient and the baseball game was fun. We took advantage of a pop in to the museum for... More

I want to first say that this is a very old historic building. Which I always think I would love to stay in, but in reality I did not like it. Also, I'm quite surprised how many reviews say how friendly & nice staff are. I didn't see that to be honest. First, we arrived at 1pm. I KNOW check... More

This is our third visit to the Priory. The staff excels at guest service. The shuttle service is so handy. They serve on of the best complimentary breakfasts ever. The hotel is so lovely and well appointed--it almost talks. The downsides? The neighborhood is a bit on the seedy side. We didn't feel comfortable walking. Parking can also be a... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding a few weeks ago. We had one of the older rooms and the age did show a bit in the room. That is not to say that the hotel was bad but just slightly older. The room was very nice. The hotel staff was very nice. The front desk... More

Rooms lovely. Location also. Breakfast superb. Free shuttle to pnc park (which is close anyway) and i believe to downtown. Staff very friendly. Free monitored parking areas. If we go back to pitsburgh, we'll plan to stay there.

My sister in law had bought me a gift card for a night's stay at the Priory. We live in Pittsburgh and I have heard of this hotel but never visited but I'm glad we did!! Such a charming place full of history. The also have a cute little bar with great drinks and an awesome bartender (sorry I can't... More
