My husband and I stayed at Priory for 3 nights as we were in town to see 3 Pirates games. This hotel is perfect. The location is near the North Shore, the Strip, & Station Square. The building is beautiful. Lovely old architecture. Beautiful woodwork, windows, & doors. Free parking, buffet breakfast included, free shuttle to local areas. We took... More

I've stayed at The Priory many times - a great location near downtown Pittsburgh. Free parking and the rooms have all the amenities you need! They have a bar in the hotel - and their breakfast in the morning is fantastic! Lots of fresh fruit, hot coffee, pastries, etc. I would highly recommend!!

Such a beautiful hotel inside and out. The room I stayed in was more than what I expected. The bed is amazing comfy. The room is perfectly big with a clean big bathroom. Noise free area. Free WiFi, free parking and breakfast. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The location of the hotel is close to downtown Pittsburgh which... More

We recently spent town nights in a Queen room. The owners have done a wonderful job of adapting the building to be used as a modern boutique hotel. Some have made comments concerning tight or cramped facilities but I'm more than accepting of how the adaptations have been made to accommodate modern usage. The courtyard is wonderful and we took... Loved the idea of a refashioned monastery for a hotel stay for Pirates game. Super close to PNC Park, free parking and continental breakfast for $130 for the night on a holiday weekend. Can't beat it. Now for the negatives. You can hear everything going on both inside and outside the hotel in the room. Room was cramped and kind... More

Beautiful old building in a slightly "pioneering" neighborhood. Gorgeous patio, sassy bartender, excellent breakfast. Odd-shaped rooms. We had a small full bed that was pretty hard but with great pillows. Good restaurant recommendations from front desk. Easy parking. Can walk to downtown. Not quite $188 worth.

The hotel looks really neat. Historic for sure. I enjoyed the look of the place and it went downhill from there. I will say the customer service was excellent! The rooms were very clean but cramped. The bathroom was very tiny and the shower even smaller. The room had a musty smell to it. I could hear everything in the... More

This beautifully restored monastery is a real piece of history. Meticulously restored, & real attention to detail. Rooms & all surroundings are remarkable. With a great work-out gym, business office, & 'European/German-style breakfast, it is hard to beat. And, did I mention "FREE" parking..........in Pittsburgh? Well that's unheard of, but it is offered here, along with a ready & willing... More

The hotel is very beautiful and historic. The room was decorated with many antiques. The bathrooms are very small, especially the shower. The hotel is situated within walking distance to PNC Park. I did not feel safe walking to and from the hotel and PNC Park after dark. The hotel is located in a rough area of town. The hotel... More
