I was looking for a cute charming hotel for my sister and I for our baseball road trip to Pittsburgh. This place delivered on both! The service was great and the hotel felt like I was a character in Mad Men. Henry gave us an entertaining ride to PNC Park, which was so close we walked back after the game.... More

We came to Pittsburgh to see a band at the Benedum Theater. We looked for a relatively inexpensive place that would be clean and comfortable. This place was both except I didn't care for the pillows and the bedding. I feel as though they could invest in pillows that were fluffier and bedding covers that were thicker. We have chosen... A repurposed monastery in North Pittsburgh, near the Children's museum and National aviary, and CCAC, offers comfortable, large rooms, with high ceilings, antique and reproduction furniture, and lots of little amenities. Free transport by shuttle for those timid about finding their way across the three rivers, a lovely and tiny bar with an excellent wine list, and free continental style... More

The Priory is a former Benedictine monastery that has been converted into a luxury hotel, but still retains much of its historical charm. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet and the staff was friendly and quite helpful. We were very pleased with how quickly they responded to a minor problem with the drapes in our room and even offered... More

My wife and I stayed at the Priory Hotel recently and had a great time. The rooms were very nice, clean, and inviting. The hotel and banquet facilities are beautiful. The lobby quaint and comfortable. We enjoyed the free limo service to local restaurants. All in all, the Priory was central to a wonderful European-Style weekend in Pittsburgh. Conveniently located... More

We moved to a town outside of Pittsburgh and the area was still very much new to us. On a harsh winter’s day, we were scheduled to travel aboard Amtrak’s “The Pennsylvanian” to New York City. Not wanting to risk missing the train trying to battle rush hour traffic and bad weather, I pulled up “Kayak” and searched for a... More

My husband and I recently spent a night at The Priory Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff is awesome and efficient! We checked in and explored the hotel. We were fascinated with the history and architecture of the hotel. The Monk's Bar was small yet cozy and had an amazing selection of drinks, some classics and a few... More

We go to Pittsburgh a couple of times each year for cultural activities and because we like the area very much. We were looking for a better price per night for our stay. The Priory fit the bill and then some. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We used the shuttle service a lot to get to the cultural... More

This was our first trip to Pittsburgh and I thought the neighborhood was a little sketchy. Very cute hotel though. Bed was a little too hard for our liking. Room was clean with a view of the side parking lot, which was nice to keep an eye on the car and to be able to remote start it this time... More

My wife and I stayed at the Priory in January for a weekend staycation. It was a great choice. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed a drink in the first floor bar - and the fireplace really warmed us up when we came in from the cold. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. We were... More
