We were in town for a visit to RMU and this Hyatt was conveniently located. Arrived very late, after midnight, and was checked in quickly. Thankfully the parking was very close. Rooms are very cool, Euro styled and comfortable with a huge flat screen. The entrance is a bit peculiar, driving around the back of the Kohl's, but not a... More

Had friends stay here during a recent trip to vacation in Pittsburgh - 5 minutes from airport, and only 10 minutes ( in no traffic) to downtown. Beautiful room, large TV, frig, couch, desk - everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. Close to shopping and restaurants - some you can walk to, others accessible through the hotel shuttle.... More

The hotel is located between the airport and downtown Pittsburgh along I 376. There are dozens of restaurants and stores located within one mile of this hotel. It is about a 20 to 30 minute drive into the city but traffic was bad into the city the weekend evenings we were there with the Pirates playing at PNC Park the... More

We stayed 2 nights recently to shop and go to Rivers Casino. The first room smelled so musty we asked for a different room. Second room was better but still odor. In fact bed linens and hall way smelled as well. Overall room was clean and front desk staff was very good. Access to hotel isn't easy from the road.... More

Loved the location with shopping & food all close by!! Front desk staff was extremely helpful & friendly! Halls smelled a bit musty but the room was fine, loved the amount of space we had! Great selection at breakfast but the mini pancakes were hard as rock & the breakfast sandwiches were crunchy, I would suggest putting out less at... More

I prefer to stay at Hyatt Place when I travel, if there's one near my destination or, as in the case, on my way to or from a destination. I always know I'll get a large, clean & comfortable room. This location was no exception. I had no issues with the room. The staff were friendly and anxious to please.... More

Perfect for walking from PIT through the enclosed tunnel (read: cold winters). Closest hotel to the airport. Bar food was good, above average. The room was decent sized along w the bathroom. Overall the hotel was the usual great Hyatt brand we have come to expect and love.

Admittedly I arrived late on a flight from Chicago, but the stay in this hotel has prompted me to warn other travellers to make sure you get a decent room locked away BEFORE you arrive. The first room I was given smelled so badly of cigarette smoke that I immediately requested another. The hotel was fully booked so I was... More

This hotel was probably the nicest business hotel I've stayed in. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, nice beds and huge flat-screen TV's, must have been 42". Nice eating area with great breakfasts included. The location is a little awkward, but not a problem.

Spent 3 nights at the hotel for a family reunion. It was close to the park and easy to get to. The hotel was exceptionally clean and offered a continental breakfast. I had adjoining rooms with my brother and we enjoyed the convenience of just going from room to room. We were on the 5th fl and my only complaint... More
