This place was a little nicer than I expected for the mid-range price. We were here to visit family and will likely stay here again. Pros: 1 very clean. 2. Comfortably sized room with extra sitting area and well laid out 3. Nice staff 4. Breakfast better than most chain hotels, with hot options and good coffee 5. 24/7 food... More

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Place as my son was in town for a hockey tournament. Rooms are a great size--two beds and a large sitting area with desk, fridge, and L shaped pullout couch. Pool is mid size so good for some family fun. Breakfast was very good. Fresh eggs, sausages, fruit etc..... Nice way to start the... More

This hotel was located in a excellence location, right across from a nice shopping mall (Robinson). There were a ton of restaurants in the area as well, Olive garden, Long Horn, applebees, Fridays etc.. The room was very clean and updated (fixtures, mini bar, showers). The main issue I had with this hotel was the noise level. We stayed on... More

One thing that becomes clear after visiting multiple times is that if you stay outside the city of Pittsburgh, you are quite likely find hotels delivering more comfort for lower prices than their sister concerns near the university area. The suite was spacious and clean, the decor was good, all the furniture and fittings appeared to be new. The staff... More

We have stayed here for the past 4 years for the Steeler home opener. Previous visits have been very good but this year was questionable. Getting off the elevator on our floor there was an odd smell .. musty. Upon opening our room the air freshener was strong!!!!!!!!! The air did not seem to be working and all the linens... More

Frankly, I stayed at this particular hotel mostly because I had some vouchers, and because I had stayed at a Hyatt Place before. I would have chosen a less expensive alternative, otherwise. But, the Hyatt Place is a good value for the money, and this particular location is better than the average, for the Pittsburgh suburban area, since one can... More

Nice hotel, large rooms with comfortablé king size bed. Room is well cleaned every day. Italian shower is very large. At first sight, breakfast seem limited on the food variety but not ! Nothing misses for a good day start. Staff is kind, attentive and quick to solve issues (problem with my water tap mentioned in the morning and solved... More

Stayed here a few weeks ago while visiting family in Pittsburgh. My husband had stayed here for business in March and he recommended it. Price was very reasonable. Hotel and parking lot was located in an odd area, but once you get past that, it is terrific. Rooms are nice, atmosphere is nice and the free breakfast every morning was... More

I'm a Hilton member but the new Homewood down the road sold out. So gave this a try. Glad I did! Really clean. Modern. Has all the amenities of an upscale. Food fresh. Bar. Lounge. TVS in lobby. Hangout area. Indoor pool., nice job #Hyatt!
