Hyatt Place near Pgh Intl Airport
Jul 9, 2009 | Trip type: Couples New

My soon to be husband at the time and I stayed at the Hyatt Place near the Airport. MaryAnne and the staff were very kind to us during our stay. The rooms are clean and the price very reasonable. We also enjoyed the near by Giant eagle. We truly felt at home away from home. It was to be our... more

I went to the Hyatt Place this past weekend for two nights because of the excellent reviews that it has received on TA. I called for complimentary ride from the airport. the shuttle was there in no time. The hotel was clean, the check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was plentiful and good and an extremely pleasant area to sit... more

The hotel says that its at Pittsburgh airport. Its not. It about 7 miles away from the airport but so are all other airport hotels except The Hyatt which is connected to the terminal. I booked online and got a rate of 139. I had taken a red eye from the west coast and reached the hotel about 10 AM.... more

Staff was kind and helpful. Hotel otherwise clean and nice. Great room. Shuttle to airport stops at several other hotels, takes 15-20 minutes. Not ideal. Good rate for distressed passengers. Failed wake up call could have been a disaster. Rooms face grocery parking lot - no solid curtains and doesn't get dark at night. more

My wife and I live in the Pittsburgh area and decided to get away for an evening. We were wonderfully rewarded at this newly renovated Hyatt. We got the $89 deal and it was worth every penny -- clean and sparkling room, fabulous 42" LG LCD screen, kitchen, exceedingly comfortable king bed. Breakfast was excellent as well. They also have... more

Having previously stayed here, I knew what to expect. And it is about the same experience you get at any Hyatt Place. Large, contemporary, comfortable room. Breakfast as part of the room cost (which I did not have). A good price. Free internet. This is close to the airport with restaurants close. However, had a great meal in Mount Washington... more

I was exceptionally pleased with this hotel and hope to stay there on future visits to Pittsburgh. I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and I had never heard of the brand, though obviously I was familiar with Hyatt. I had a quick and efficient check-in with extremely helpful staff. Lobby is new and nicely decorated with cash counter... more

Consistency seems to be the byword of the hotel industry now days. Whether you stay at a Hyatt Place in Denver, Houston, Detroit, or Pittsburgh, there is one thing that you can be sure of... You will never get lost in a Hyatt Place. That means, rankings will need to be based on condition, noise, neighborhood, and how problems are... more

I was in Pittsburgh for the first time last week for business and picked the Hyatt Place for my stay. I was definitely not disappointed! From the moment I checked in to the day I left I had a very enjoyable stay. One of the morning employees Fred really stood out. Each morning he offered his advice from where to... more
