We checked in for the 4th of July weekend. The rates were substantially cheaper than during the week. The rooms are large, which comes in handy if you are traveling with teens. The separate living room/office area is handy, and has it's own TV.There were no towels in our room when we checked in, but the staff took care of... more

I was able to get a really good price for a room with 2 queen sized beds at this location. It was about 15 minutes away from PNC Field and about 35 minutes from Kennywood. We arrived at 10:30PM and the staff behind the desk was extremely friendly. Our room was a suite with a sitting area, small kitchen area,... more

I stayed at Springhill suites for business, I checked in late and checked out early so I will just go by what I observed. The fitness area is normal, nothing to write home about but it does the job. It was packed at 10 pm and I can honestly say that is the first time I have seen a hotel... more

I had been staying at the Airport Marriott, but thought I would give Springhill Suites a try because it was so close to Walmart and Barnes and Noble across the street, and I wanted a fridge/microwave to cut back on room service...(aka fat)! I am a platinum member at Marriott, but this obviously didn't matter at all to the front... more

I know I'm a little late in posting my review as my daughter and I stayed at the Springhill Suites at the Pittsburgh Airport last August, but our stay was so awesome that I didn't want to forget. We were in town for a family reunion and stayed here the last night to be closer to the airport as we... more

I booked a room at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport and everyone from the woman who took the reservation to the housekeeper that cleaned my room went above and beyond to make my stay at their hotel excellent. Their complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was great for me as I was flying in to... more

Overall the hotel itself was fine. The room was clean, the pool area was missing towels, though. The quality of the room was nice. The front desk staff upon check in was not very friendly. I had to ask them about the locations of the elevator, breakfast, the pool etc. Usually front desk employees tell you all of that a... more

Clean, decent stay with fairly nice staff. Breakfast was good with some hot items (eggs, waffle iron), but they had a hard time keeping the supplies stocked. It was on a Saturday morning, tho, and it looked like a lot of families during the weekend before new year, so that is to be expected. Beds were comfy but a bit... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night on August 23, 2007. The accommodations are average for the price paid. Room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. Pool area was very nice and well maintained. Continental breakfast was OK. Proximity to local shopping, restaurants, and airport is advantageous. Overall this hotel has nothing special... more

Stayed Thursday through Sunday. Excellent experience. Best (senior) price in town). Only complaint concerns the less than ideal breakfast service on the weekend days. The orange juice was out one day. Had to wait 5 minutes for someone to brew the coffee and the tables were littered - maybe they were understaffed or poorly staffed because Friday morning was fine.... more
