business hotel that doesn't ignore the tourist. very friendly staff that were attentive and genuine. Unfortunately pool access is thru the fitness center which is awkward for folks using equipment because kids are running thru in wet suits . No hot tub and lukewarm sauna. The entire area was clean and maintained. Nice bar and separate dining area.Short walk to... More

I stayed at the Marriott Pittsburgh City Center hotel for one night as part of a business trip, the rooms are very nice and clean, you can see the attention for the smallest details, I would certainly stay here again.

My husband and I recently spent one night at this hotel with our daughter. I picked this hotel due to its proximity to the Consol Center. We took our daughter to a concert at the Consol center, it was so nice to just walk next door and not have to deal with traffic before and after the show. The woman... More

We stayed three night to watch the Dodgers stomp the Bucs. I looked like a homeless person in comparison with the business crowd. Still, my daughter and I were afforded top notch service and enjoyed the super comfy beds and pillows. Nice to have a Starbucks in the house, too.

This is not a super-deluxe hotel, and it's on the edge of downtown. But it's a good choice nonetheless. The beds are super comfortable, the staff is as friendly as can be. (They were particularly accommodating with a late-checkout after I arrived at 130a with a delayed flight.) And unlike most full-service Marriotts, the wi-fi is free. In the rooms.... More

Very good Marriott hotel overall. A bit out of the way, but Pittsburgh is not a very large city to explore, so a bit of walking just gets you to the Theatre area. Room is very nice; gym a bit small but the swimming pool is a nice size. Overall very good experience. Breakfast was ok, I had better at... More

I stayed here a year and a half ago and was not impressed, but last weekend I returned and some renovations had made a big different. The rooms are updated and brighter. Little touches like bedside reading lamps and more outlets make a difference. I could still hear hallway noise, and the lobby looks the same, but just about every... More

This was our first time staying in downtown Pittsburgh. Normally we stay about 10 minutes outside the city (near the airport) but decided to book a hotel downtown instead. I loved the location, however it can be confusing trying to navigate your way around in traffic trying to find where to park. $44.00 for 2 nights of parking is ridiculous... More

We opted for the larger corner room (called a smaller suite) at the Center City Marriott. There was a lot of floor space, but no separated space from the bed and the rest of the area. Very clean and newly renovated, the room was efficient but bare. The bathroom had an old tub. Don't look for a robe or anything... More
