I came to Phoenixville to visit my son and was looking to find a safe, affordable motel near his apartment. The French Creek Inn fit the bill. First the pros- it is indeed affordable, safe and centrally located. The rooms are spacious, clean and the mattress comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and went out of their way to... The rooms are older- furniture, bathrooms. However, it is huge. Front desk man is grouchy but it safe here and the location is easy to find. Close to Burger King, Rita's. Breakfast was muffin, coffee, diluted juice.

I drove by the hotel the first time and it looked a little beat up when I pulled in. Once I walked into the lobby to register I was treated like an old friend. The lobby is simple yet clean and I actually spent time reading there one night. The staff is better than anywhere I have ever stayed. Each... More

Stayed for a college visit. Moved us once because of non-functioning bathroom. Wanted to move us again the second night because that room was booked. Checked out after first night. They wouldn't let us leave the first night with a refund because they requite 24-hour cancellation. If you see the place, you'll understand why. Beds were awful. Room was old... More

Staff was very helpful & friendly, Coffee though not in room was excellent and easily accessed, as was quality of orange juice. Other breakfast selections were extremely limited and soda machine would not accept dollars. Room was fairly spacious with double beds, mini fridge & microwave, basic cable TV, and wireless (for a surcharge). Heating was efficient and kept the... More

I have stayed at the French Creek Inn 2 years in a row. It's not a luxury hotel, but I was pleased. I don't know what some people expect for that price. The room was comfortable; the staff was friendly and helpful, and the inn is only a short drive from Phoenixville and the YMCA grounds. If you are just... More

I stayed here in April and was very pleased with the location as it is only a few minutes to the Christian College. The rooms are very large (much larger then the average hotel) and the vanities are brand new and beautiful. The staff was extreamly friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to go and eat. You cant beat... More

I am absolutely disgusted how dirty this place is. Water stains and other disgusting stains on the ceiling, rust in the bathtub sorry I am not going to take a shower in a bathroom like that. Wallpaper peeling off and the furniture looks like it was picked out of a dumpster. Carpet is all stained up and ripped. How can... More

Friends, this is a $70/night hotel. It is not a Hampton or Sheraton. It is very conveniently located to downtown Phoenixville and Valley Forge Christian College. Rooms are large and clean, but not new or modern or fancy. For the money it is a very good value. Parking is easy and plentiful (good for large vans, youth pastors). While the... More

I had a hard time rating this place. Two "stars" is deemed poor, and three is average. Yet, this hotel is definitely below what I would call "average" in 2013. In my experience. the average hotel nationwide is much better. First the good: parking is easy, it's quiet, and rooms are huge. The bad: rooms need new furniture, carpeting and... More
