We shared our love of Lancaster with friends who had never been to the Amish country. Our stay at Neffdale Farm was relaxing & peaceful. The Neffs were warm and willing to share their love of farming with us. Our rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. We especially enjoyed the covered swing in the yard. Breakfast was simple - continental... More

My wife daughter and myself stayed at this great farm in May We were expecting a small room and a light breakfast and were ok with that. What we got was a very good size room for the three of us and a great breakfast that filled all of us up for most of the day. although I was being... More

was not happy with this place and we left minutes after arriving. The owners were very friendly, but that is all I can say that is positive. It is very close to the highway and therefore very noicy. The room had an unpleasant odor that make staying there impossible. Sorry to have to write this, but this was my experience.

Stayed here with my husband for a weekend getaway. It's a dairy farm and my husband enjoyed milking the cows. I liked the serenity of the farm and the area in general. The hosts were nice and the breakfast was great. We did the Strasburg Railroad train ride and a bit of shopping at the Amish shops. We will definitely... More

The hosts were wonderful and kind. It was nice to see a family operated dairy farm in action. The kids (12,7,and 2 years old) loved the calves and the kittens. Don't expect a hearty breakfast here, but the breads, coffee and juice were all we needed. The rooms were clean, and well kept. Its very close to Dutch Wonderland where... More

We enjoyed a lovely evening walking around the farm, watching the cows, calfs and cats! The corn was high, the evening clear and the moon was full - gentle breeze was lovely to cool things down, if you like the odor...... The room was comfortable and quiet, There was a room air conditioner, which with the 95+ temps was wonderful.... More

We stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms. Arrived not fully knowing what to expect, as this was our first time staying at a working farm. I already gathered that it wasn't your average bed and breakfast and it's not. We were literally staying inside someone's home, in the bedrooms on the top floor. We, and the kids, liked it. It's... We stayed here for 3 nights and had a really great stay. We were shown around the farm on the first evening, watched the cows being milked, saw the calves and the other buildings. I'd grown up on an English dairy farm so it was interesting to visit this one. Our hosts were so friendly and we had many conversations... More
