It has the B&B feel, the staff is super friendly, and the location is great for traveling to little daytime retreats such as Peddler's Village, Ringing Rocks Park, High Rocks Vista, and New Hope. We stayed in the Pearce Room. It was decent but it did seem like it was becoming run down. Its a historic place, I get it.... More

My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at this inn. For two very relaxing nights, we enjoyed our stay at the The Joseph Ambler Inn. We are not history buffs, but found the owner’s story of how he encountered the property and its history very interesting. It was fascinating to hear of how the owner of the inn saved... More

I have stayed there several times when on business trips to the area, and in January also brought my wife and kid with me. The rooms are nice, roomy and the rustic atmosphere does it for us. Breakfast is good (though used to be richer)

We needed to find an inn/hotel close to Sellersville, PA. The Joseph Ambler Inn looked delightful on line. We love historic inns and it seemed to fit the bill. Upon arrival, the grounds looked just as we hoped they would. We had booked a standard room which, on line looked very nice. When checking in, the desk clerk said that... More

Had a Groupon for 1 nite and a $20 dining credit which was honored on New Years Eve. Was able to use credit for the dinner New Years. It was expensive but delicious!! The accomodations at 1st I thought was very nice-but as the night went on I changed my mind. (This was 4th time Ive stayed here but not... More

We had a great time at the Joseph Ambler Inn over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute. The room was beautiful, the staff outstanding and a full hot breakfast was included. I liked reading about the history of the Inn and would highly recommend this place. Everytime we visit our daughters we will look forward... More

We booked the Halloween package which included our overnight stay, breakfast, watching the movie The Shinning, drinks (not cocktails! just - soda, juice, tea!) They set up a candy bar and popcorn and it was really cute!!! Even though it was an older crowd there was also a 20-30's group - myself included - I thought they could have used... More

What a lovely inn - such a quiet and peaceful setting. And the buildings have been renovated so nicely to be both historically charming yet still providing the comforts & amenities you look for when staying away from home. The breakfast was tasty! And there are plenty of shops nearby if you need to get anything - but you feel... More

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Inn for an overnight halloween special. I drove over to check it out weeks beforehand. At that time, I was pleased with the picturesque surroundings and modern, clean accommodations. We arrived the afternoon of the reserved night's stay and were assigned a beautiful room with a king-sized bed and... More

We had our wedding here this past weekend. From the rehearsal dinner in the John Roberts House to our send off breakfast, we could not ask for better food or service. We were treated like royalty and our family enjoyed our time here so much that we are planning a family Thanksgiving here for 2015. If you are looking for... More
