My Family and I truly enjoyed all that this gem has to offer. Walking the paths through the peaceful woods, spending time on the beach and enjoying quiet time gathered around the fire. The Children enjoyed the areas to play as well as the playground. We will definitely be back next year.

We have camped all over the United States and this is the worst campground ever! Please, don't go there unless you love filthy bathrooms with feces scattered around, no WIFI as advertised unless you go to the top of the wooded hill and then MAYBE you'll pick it up, RUDE owner/host not wanting to hear what you say or even... You reserved 2 Lakeview RV sites, and a Lake view tent site that you requested be near the RV sites, for a Friday and Saturday night. You had also reserved our 2 bedroom cottage for the Saturday night. Saturday afternoon you decided that you were not happy with one of the RV sites, the tent site and the cottage, and... More

My first visit, a really neat place - incredible sunsets, great views, nice amenities. Ricky, the owner, was very helpful and a great all around guy. It is a great place to enjoy the water and country quiet - and reasonable too. You need to give it a try!

Wonderful facility. We stayed in a tent T-7 for two nights and then rented one of the little brown cabins when rain threatened our last 24 hours. It's a classic rocky lake Erie beach with great sunsets. Bring your beach toys! You can search for smooth glass pebbles and cool rocks to paint. Find a good hiking stick and walk... More

We went to Erie with plans to camp at Sara's. They were way overcrowded, so we decided to stay at Virginia's Beach Campground instead. I am so glad we did. This campground is beautiful! You won't get a better view of Lake Erie. The staff are friendly and the grounds are well taken care of. This is not a place... More

This campground was pretty nice. We stayed in tents on site T15. It was very wooded and serene. And also very large..plenty of room for 2 tents. Rest rooms were clean..showers had plenty of hot water. Beach was full of debris and not really usable. But thats mother natures fault..lake was pretty choppy and washed in a lot of stuff.... More

We rented one of the lake front cabins. It was super cute with awesome sunset views. The campground is in the middle of nowhere so both of us had no cell reception (the owners obviously can't do anything about that lol). The grounds were very clean and well maintained. The only gripe I have is that the air conditioner didnt... More

Thank you for reviewing Virginia's Beach. We are glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay! Based on your feedback we realized that the a/c unit in the cabin that you rented had trouble keeping up during hot weather so we increased the size of the unit. More

Started going there with friends and the kids, this has defainately become our annual tradition. the views are spectacular, friendly staff and regular patrons. the cabins are adoreable. this place is great. the wifi is not grand and most cell phones dont have many bars, but isnt that what camping is? unplugging, relaxing and unwinding...if... My family and I went for a long weekend for our 5 year anniversary! We rented a cottage right on the lake and the view was breath taking. The cottage was perfect for our family. Our boys enjoyed the bunk beds and playing at the play ground. The beach was exactly how they describe on their website, rocky but still... More

My husband and I travelled to Virginia's Beach Campground from Toronto, ONTARIO. The drive was beautiful and the campground easy to get too. We stayed in the more wooded area and absolutely loved it. It was very relaxing and quiet. We did some shopping at Mill Creek Mall which was only about a 30 minute drive away. The convenience of... More
