When booking primitive tent site found out price quoted was for 2 adults only. I was traveling with just 1 adult and 4 children. They insisted that they must charge me an additional $3/night per child... and with that being rediculous as it is for a "family campground" to not include 2 children in a site fee like most other... Stayed here on visit to Dormey Park. Was close to the park and very nice. Had a site on the creek with full hookups and cable. The site was very level and grassy. Kids loved the pool and playground. Would consider this again.

We booked a campsite in mid-June and quickly found out that there would be severe thunderstorms in the area that night. Upon arriving at the site, the staff immediately provided us with a cabin free of charge to keep us safe during the storm. It was such a gracious act and we were very grateful for their hospitality. Since the... More

The KOA is very clean and the staff is efficient and friendly. The setting is wooded and nice and the sites well-kept. I would give a excellent rating except for one thing. The NOISE!!!! OH MY GOD! The night we got there they showed a movie in the Rex center it was so loud it could be heard all over... More

My husband and I have stayed in a cabin twice so far and both times had a great time. The facility is basic with toilets and showers, a pool, a small game room, laundry facilities, small convenience store, and play ground. Our cabin had a full bed and twin bunk beds with very basic mattresses (you provide your own linens),... More

Owners are helpful but strict. Not much as far as thrills and its one of the most expensive camp sites you will visit. The amenities here are weaker than any other KOA or private camp site. It seems it barely gets by but you wouldn't think it considering how expensive they are. Unfortunately there are not many camping locations in... More

May 2014. Stayed here for the first time. lived up to KOA standards. Many of the sites are close together but not unlike many campgrounds. When we arrived check in was great when we plugged in our shore line the plug arched. We got a staff person and he was unable to fix the 30 amp plug but they loaned... More

Campground personnel were all very friendly and helpful. Pull though sites were fairly large and level. Only drawback is that they were 'Buddy' sites, so your living area faced the living area of your neighbor. We were close to the stream and the sound was very soothing. We did experience issues with the 50 amp service, but since we didn't... More

My daughter and I camped in a tent Mother's Day weekend 5/9-5/11/2014. Check in was super fast and located in the general store. We were given an escort to our campsite #43. The site was next to the playground. There was electric, water, picnic table and a fire ring. There are no charcoal grills, so make sure you bring your... More

Nothing really stood out, just not impressed. A lot like other koas I have been to rustic. Sites were small and hook ups in poor location but owners were nice and drove around often. It was about 20 minutes to dorney park. We went to cracker barrel for breakfest which was about 10 minutes south of campgtound and it was... More
