The Higinbotham Bed & Breakfast is an excellent location to stay when visiting the Gettysburg area. Gettysburg is a short drive and New Oxford is a quaint little town with numerous antique stores. Mary Jo and Jim are excellent hosts and we enjoyed their company. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Mary Jo had... More

We recently attended a WWII reenactment which is held every year the third weekend in September. Mary Jo and husband Jim are the most wonderful people. We also attend a tea one of the most relaxing lunches we have had in such a long time. It was such a wonderful place to spend a few night, bed and the pillows... More

Our room with a heavenly king-sized bed, luxurious bedding, and lovely furnishings was... More

The breakfast Mary Jo served us each morning was plentiful & superb! She and her husband Jim are wonderful hosts and we so enjoyed their company. The room is very... More

Recommend this inn for its nice private upstairs suite, suitable for a friends weekend or a small family. You get a large master bedroom, sumptuous bathroom and a smaller bedroom with two twins. The hosts leave you alone if that's what you want. They are also happy to make you a pot of tea. The breakfasts were lovely. The inn... More
