We stayed there for one night and loved it. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was served on the porch right outside the room. But best is the location. We parked our car once and walked throughout the entire area.

Porches on the Towpath is a great place to relax, and it's super convenient. Right in the heart of New Hope and walkable to everything (we even took a bus from NYC to get there). It is located at the end of an alley so it feels very secluded. John and Bob are generous hosts and made us feel welcomed... More

This was the first time my husband and I have been to a B&B and we absolutely loved it. The idea of being in one house with other guests was what has kept us from staying at a B&B before, so we loved that Porches had multiple buildings with rooms to give us more of a feeling of privacy. We... More

We were looking for a little getaway to unwind. What a great find. My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Porches. We stayed in room 3 which was bright and airy and spotless. We were warmly greeted on our arrival by Bob a wonderful, friendly guy who helps out John the owner who was equally a really great... More

We stayed Monday through Thursday at Porches on the Towpath. This B&B is located in the heart of New Hope, Pennsylvania and was originally built as a granary. It is within walking distance to all the attractions and delights of New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ. There are plenty of things to do and see in New Hope, Lambertville and... More

Third time was definitely the charm at Porches on the Towpath in New Hope. We love to come here at the end of the summer and Porches has become our go to place. It is located right in the heart of town. It is a short walk to the stores and restaurants on Main Street. The rooms are extremely comfortable... More

For years my husband's rule of thumb was "always take a room in the main building", the implication being that successful B&B's all around the world eventually add rooms to meet popular demand. Therefore if you think you are staying at a 17th century chateau you could find yourself in a five year old room that doesn't even approximate the... More

Tucked away in a sweet little corner just steps from downtown New Hope is Porches - the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Full of antiques in every nook and cranny, beautiful vintage rooms impeccably furnished and knowledgeable and friendly hosts, it is a perfect getaway. John and Bob make you feel right at home, and cook... More

My family and friends vacation in New Hope often, and we are always pleased with Porches. John and Crissy are great hosts, and the breakfasts are to die for. You are close to everything in the town, situated in a cul-de-sac, and the view from the second floor porch gives a feeling of being in a tree in a rain... More

John and Bob were wonderful hosts at this charming B&B. They gave the best dining suggestions The place itself was clean and interesting, with a slightly over run garden situation. You couldn't beat the location, you could walk everywhere! The rooms were interesting, however, if you are tall or overweight don't book room #6 because the actual toilet was in... More
