Porches is the perfect B&B, comfy and welcoming. John was extraordinarily helpful, both while giving me excellent advice re public transportation from NYC and with logistical assistance during my stay. A pity that the weather was too cold to sit out on the terrace, but I had the pleasure of walking the bridge between New Hope PA and Lambertville NJ,... More

I have stayed in a few B & B(s) in New Hope and was lucky enough to be able to stay here for a Sunday night. A lot of places want you to stay a minimum of 2 nights on a weekend. I had no choice-I could only do one night. It is a great location and the only reason... More

I have stayed here many times and always come back for the fine accommodations, friendly staff and great location. Whether you stay in the main house or the Gatekeeper's Quarters, Porches does not disappoint. Five stars!

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AT PORCHES,THE INN KEEPERS WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL,i did think perhaps they would have some goodies out as snacks over the holidays but overall it was a pleasant visit. The great thing about its location is you can walk the entire town without ever having to pay the daily parking fee of 20.00 since porches has its... We have stayed at Porches many times and love it here. It is nestled back on the canal yet walking distance to all of New Hope and right of the street to the bridge heading to Lambertville. The location is perfect! We have stayed in almost all of the rooms and each one is so charming and different. Our favorite... More

My husband and I just returned from a great weekend at the Porches on the Towpath. We stayed in room 12 with a beautiful king sized bed and a huge bathtub in a beautiful bathroom. We stayed at many bed and breakfast in the past and their breakfast was the best & the biggest! We even had breakfast delivered to... More

This Inn has renovated rooms done in the era of the 1880's. Each room is individually put together, even has bathtubs with lion claws, Don't remember how many rooms, as each time I go there the owner has renovated another room. Check its website. One feels like he/she is living in that era. It's located off the road and near... More

Down this dark road you find this bed and breakfast. The owner is nice. There is one bad thing next to our room 12 which was room the room next door loud people and you could hear their tv. The room was nice. Paid for top room got the worst neighbors. Shot email to them after I could not get... More

Great b&b in middle of NewHope, but hidden overlooking canal and towpath. John and Bob can answer any ? Even telling us where each bench is on the towpath and where every light is for your rides out of town. Great breakfast with John facilitating comfortable conversations with other guests at table at same time. Location perfect. Park the car, feel... More

Stayed here with my fiancee and my parents for 2 nights as a pre-wedding getaway. John and Bob were friendly and helpful and made a different breakfast each morning - both were delicious! Rooms 11 and 12 are beautifully decorated with lovely art and antiques and we all commented on how comfy the beds are as well. All in all... More
