Attended a wedding here. Small venue, the seating outside was in direct hot afternoon sun for the wedding service, and yes, as other said the fountain gets in the way. The bride has to walk around a large deep hole that is in the center of the aisle, where she should be walking. The tables inside are very small, and... More

Dear Posttime, We're sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at HollyHedge. We actually work with every couple who is married at the Estate to plan the details for their wedding, and allow them a number of choices for how they'd like to conduct their ceremony, how the bride would like to enter and walk down the... My husband and I were married at Holly Hedge this past June. The grounds were beautiful and the food was great. In meetings leading up to the wedding the staff was nothing but professional. However, the day of my wedding there were several issues that were handled in an unprofessional manner. The biggest issue we had was regarding the fountain... More

Cara, we’re so sad that you all are no longer happy with your wedding from June 1 of this year. As the owner noted in his personal letter to your family, had you or your family raised any of these issues in the days, weeks, or month after the event, we would have been happy to work with you all... The property is lovely, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were beautiful, organized well, the food was delicious, and they catered to all my food allergies. We had a great time. The B&B itself downstairs is very nice, the staff accommodating, and the family brunch was good, and gave us all the chance to share another meal together before we... More

Our beloveds K & M had their wedding here at Holly Hedge. From the moment I arrived I was in awe of the charm of the place and the friendliness of the staff. THEN came the food and beverage and the hard working yet professional and always pleasant service staff. I was so impressed and grateful for the hospitality that... More

In the end my January wedding was beautiful. The property is magical and makes for a great wedding location. That being said I would NEVER recommend Holly Hedge and if I did it again there is no way I would choose the same venue. The staff is absolutely awful! We had sooo many problems with Wendy from the very beginning;... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Hollyhedge! The rooms are beautiful! The breakfasts were phenomenal! The proprietor was so accommodating-she changed our room so we could be closer to our friends! We were able to walk everywhere because of the great location!! Highly recommended!

We stayed recently for a wedding at the Estate, which was lovely! We were able to stay in one of guest rooms on the night of the event, which turned out to be a great evening. The gardens and grounds are beautiful - I imagine the summer or spring being spectacular! The room we stayed in was average, but each... More

Stayed at the HollyHedge this past weekend and I have never been so turned off. I felt like I was staying at a Motel. We checked into our room and there were bugs all over. I am not talking about 1, 2, 3 bugs, but a whole family of them living in our room! Before I could get to the... More

Had our wedding here and I don't think I could have asked for more. The place is georgeous, everyone on the staff amazing. Friends of ours are talking about going back for just a long weekend with how much we loved it. So happy we had our wedding here!

It is a beautiful compound of buildings lush with flowers and plants. Everyone was very friendly and we were upgraded at check in just because another room was available. When we arrived there was a wedding in progress. It looked like they did a wonderful job. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast... More
