This is really a terrific B&B! The hosts, Dinie and Carl, take guests warmly as friends and they have a terrific compound of historic buildings from which to select an accommodation, all with artistic individual details. The grounds have a a charming privacy yet it's just a short walk down a road into the center of town. Breakfasts are cozy... More

Carl and Dinie, congrats on your 30th year owning the Wedgwood Inn. I couldn't let this occasion go by without writing. Can you believe we're one of your first guests? We were practically kids when we met. This last stay was another gem. Loved the private cottage, the coffee keeps getting better and better, the grounds have matured so nicely,... More

We stayed during the week to celebrate a birthday. Just short walk (~2 minutes) to the main street of New Hope. We stayed in room J, it was a beautiful room with an easy to use fireplace. and wonderful whirlpool tub. The fixtures and settings of bedroom and bathroom were well-kept and not the least bit worn like other B&Bs... More

We came for a relaxing weekend and we specifically asked if there would be comfortable chairs in the room for reading. We were assured there would be, but there were two Queen Anne chairs w/ wooden arms--OK but not comfortable. When I saw that, I thought we'd have to go to a "public room" but there aren't any. They turned... More

The location of the B&B could not be beat, given the noisiness of the traffic in New Hope. This place is just far enough away from the main drag that you are spared most of it. We stayed in the garden room with its own private porch at the Umpleby House. It was sufficient for our overnight stay, but didn't... More

On several recent stays at Wedgwood Inn, I'm glad to report that the Inn has all the right touches. Delightful Olga who quickly learns your name welcomes you to a home cooked breakfast overlooking expansive gardens. There are snacks during the day, thick towels and robes in the rooms along with comfortable beds and traditional furnishings as well as a... More

A continued 3 cheers for Wedgwood Inn. I returned to New Hope last week and again stayed at the Inn. I had recalled its tastefully-furnished rooms, with their mix of antiques and finds from flea markets, the inviting lounges with sofas, reading chairs, board games and magazines and the luscious breakfasts. I was not disappointed. Wedgwood remains a first-rate establishment.... More

Our experience at Wedgwood Inn was mixed! The female owner was quite friendly and helpful. However, we found that her husband and the employee who made and served breakfast were both unpleasant; they both seemed sick and tired of running a B and B, and as if they really did not want to be bothered with us or with being... We spent our wedding night in the Umpleby House at the Wedgwood Inn in June. We were so comfortable and just charmed by the attention to detail, the beautiful property, our hot tub for two, and especially breakfast on our private terrace. We hope to return every year! I later realized that I'd lost one of my wedding earrings, and... More

We received a gift certificate for Christmas for the B&B and for a wine tour. My husband and I left our two little girls at home and had a great romantic weekend away! If it wasn't for breakfast, we would have thought we had the place to ourselves. Unlike many B&B's, the walls were not paper thin so we couldn't... More
