Stayed 2 nights in the room with adjacent sitting room. The inn was clean and very cozy on a cool fall weekend with the gas fireplace in our room and the wood burning fire every morning at breakfast. The innkeepers were extremely friendly and helpful. Location allows for a pleasant drive through Amish farmland to all the Lancaster county sites.

We certainly enjoyed our visit to the Country Hearth. Bonnie and David were very friendly and helpful Our room was cozy and comfortable and provided everything we needed. Breakfast was very tasty, and more than enough to get us off to a good start on our day. Close to many attractions. Would recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

This is America at Her best; a delightful couple, welcoming guests to their little corner of the world. No national chain of hotels can compete with a local B&B where the care and attention invested by the owners leaps out at you from every corner. From the inviting front porch where you first get a glimpse of what you’re about... More

A very pleasent experience at County Hearth B&B in early June. Warm welcome by our host. Provided us with any information we needed even though we were familiar with some of the surrounding areas. Delightful breakfast before we continued our journey the following morning. A nice place to stay and we would stay again when in the area.

We needed a mother/daughter get-away and this was the place to do it! David and Bonnie were very hospitable, made great suggestions, and knew a great deal of local amish/mennonite history which only added to the experience. The room was wonderfully decorated and very clean. We may just plan a trip to check out their New Jersey shore B&B since... More

This place is Great!! And I was very pleasantly surprised that for Breakfast the Inn Keeper made Gluten Free Apple Cake!! She went above and beyond addressing my gluten free allergy. The room was clean, well decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

This was our first time at Country Hearth Bed and Breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. The Innkeepers David and Bonnie made us feel right at home, as well as Pearl (their 14 year old miniature schnauzer). We loved their knowledge of the Amish / Mennonite culture. Our room (Cherub Room) was so cozy and comfortable, the fireplace added a... More

We stayed at Country Hearth Bed and Breakfast for the long Valentine Day / President's Day weekend. The Innkeepers Bonnie and David made us feel right at home. They are very knowledgeable of the Amish / Mennonite culture in the area and even arranged for us to attend dinner Saturday night at an Amish family's home. It was a wonderful... More

We enjoyed Valentines weekend at the Country Hearth Bed and Breakfast and had a wonderful time. The hosts were friendly and breakfast was a treat both mornings. Our room had an electric fire place and in room Jacuzzi. Very clean and very private. We would definitely go again. Close to Shady Maple which in our opinion is the best buffet... More

We recommend the Country Hearth Bed & Breakfast for a great time away. A beautiful country home in Lancaster County. There is a lot of places to visit and to eat in Lancaster County. Also, a great experience, is having a meal in an Amish home. The breakfast served by the owners, David and Bonnie are delicious and we enjoy... More
