My wife and I had a fantastic stay at The Stone Manse Inn for my wifes recent 30th Birthday weekend. We couldn't have asked for better hospitality and it was pretty amazing waking up to the smell of a fresh cooked breakfast. Nothing better than that. It was a pleasure to stay there and I would highly recommend a stay... More

While you may have second thoughts as you pull into the driveway due to the surrounding and admittedly non-scenic industrial park across the street, I assure you, you'll forget about it the second you go inside. My husband and I stayed in the little cottage that is a few yards away from the main house. It was very romantic and... More

My husband and I had a great experience there - cute room, yummy homemade breakfast, and Myra and Phil were very warm and chatty. They also gave us a little baby gift when they learned I'm pregnant! The location is perfect - it was too cold to do the hiking we'd planned, so we drive into Harrisburg several times from... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the cottage house around back and loved it. Cozy space? Check. Cool architecture? Check. Tastefully decorated? Check. And you can't beat the intimacy of having your own space.

We enjoy staying at this historic bed and breakfast when we plan an outing in the Harrisburg area. It is a very comfortable place and the breakfasts are excellent. Twice we have stayed there during our anniversary and they have done some nice extras because of that.

My husband and I stayed here one night on a cross country trip. We arrived late, in the rain, and were met by Phil with umbrellas. He quickly got us set up in the separate, private guest house. Not only was it immaculately clean, just walking in we could feel the history. Everything we needed was supplied and the bed... More

Stayed in the cottage house out back by the eoodline. The small touches were what made it great. New tealights for us to light, wine glasses, a nice welcome on the chalk board, the outside light left on for us, fresh flowers, and soft music playing when we went in for a delicious breakfast! It was perfect for our wedding... More

The lovely old home, the former fur trapper's cabin, and the gracious hosts make this a great place to stay - especially if you enjoy peace, quiet and homes that are rich with history. The fur trapper's cabin (separate cottage) was actually constructed decades before the American Revolution! But don't let that scare you - it's extremely comfortable, clean and... More

We recently returned to the Stone Manse Inn for our second visit in as many years while attending Corvettes at Carlisle. Centrally located between Carlisle and the Amish countryside, the Inn itself is rich in history, immaculately maintained and has easy access to major routes in all directions. We again chose the Jaspilite room as it's cozy, comfortable and private.... More

Coming north on I-81 I had a helluva time trying to find this place, but I eventually did and received a friendly greeting from Myra who showed me to my room that was accessed through a separate door up some very steep stairs. The room was adequately but not expansively furnished with older but not antique furniture and the bathroom... More
