Spent this past Labor Day weekend at Lake In Wood. Weird name, couldn't they afford the "s"? I digress. The lots are very small, fire rings are right on top of your site. stayed at lake in wood in narvon pa not very happy with the stay pool needs work ,bathrooms at poor olf and dirty, no activities for children during to week ,poor wifi signal , arcade machines either broke or out of date, but i will say staff very friendly and helpful would never stay here again .

The noise of the neighboring quarry is horrible. In the evening and thru the night it sounds as though you are in the middle of a construction site. It was very difficult to get a good night sleep. Even during the day the noise dampens the nature experience. I would never camp at Lake in the Wood again.
